Omg.. really nice idea with the cable control.. maybe add a "intro" to how to control it, it took me some time to figure out how.. but all in all Top game.

hope you can rate and comment on my game. I am 12 years old so all feedback is welcomed.

Oh wow, every level has different mechanics!

It was so fun to figure out how to best use the controls to figure out the first level, and I assumed it’d be that style of platformer all the way through, and wondered what you’d do to escalate in the next levels… Didn’t expect different styles of kinda retro games!

I like the story vignettes, sweet reward for persevering and clearing a level!

Amazing 🤩

A very good easy to  understand concept,  I recommand :)

If you like clicker and the hobbit, come here :)

Interesting take on the theme!

Very hard to control, but I guess that's part of the narrative.

I see this more as a puzzle game, as your objective on each stage is to figure out the optimal way to set up the controls, which is something rather unique.

And the art is lovely <3 <3

The concept is incredibly unique and the art very cute. Though each level doesn't ever need every component to be used, I see this as a way of player expression, letting everyone figure out solutions their own ways. The space part with its genuinely wonderful music and far more challenging gameplay made it a perfect to end off the game.

Woah. I clicked on this game because the name of your alien guy is almost identical to my username. Maybe I'm biased but... This has been one of the most fun entries I've played. The controls are really cool and the highway scene was hilarious. I'd love to see a longer game where the controls get a little bit more complicated later on

Woah right back - with brand synergy like that, do you want to be our first sponsored influencer??  Seriously though, thanks so much - that's such a high compliment!

This is very cute and such a creative concept! It was really fun at the start trying to figure out how everything worked, and I love how all the information in the story and gameplay is only communicated with pictures and symbols! The last level was so crazy and chaotic, I loved it!

One of the most unique games I've seen all jam - a bit difficult to grasp at first for sure, but once it all clicked together it was so fun to execute it! Awesome that you also managed to apply the mechanic to different genres too - had to be difficult to juggle making all that in such a short time!

Developer(+3)

That's such a high compliment - thanks so much!  And yep, building basically 3 games was definitely challenge--thankfully we cut scope from our initial concept of 10 though, haha.  Thanks for playing!

Love the story and the style!

Great concept for a platformer. It was really satisfying figuring how it worked.

The "AHA!" moment when i accidentally figured out how to play it. I feel like i'm also doing some coding when connecting those wires. The artwork and the comic panels with the sounds are crisp <3

This is such a uniquely designed game, I'm taken aback at how creative this is! It took a little bit to get the hang of, but wow this game is so creative as a puzzle/platformer that I really enjoyed playing through it! The visual storytelling was also :chefskiss:

Developer(+2)

This is so kind - thank you so much!  We also really enjoyed composing that visual storytelling :)

I really liked the style, and the art. I also liked the challenge and puzzle of using the buttons in the right way. Great game!

Honesyly one of the best games i found in the jam so far! Very very fun mechanic leading to fun puzzles

Developer(+2)

That's a high compliment - thanks so much!

Amazing presentation with a unique mechanic that evolves in super interesting ways. Once you accept a certain level of frustration, it's a great experience (very much appreciated the level select).

Developer(+2)

I'm glad you were able to get through the frustration and try out the game. Thanks!

instructions unclear: ran into wrong planet, jk great game. enjoyed flying into the same planet on accident over and over and running people off the road. Amazing soundtrack, UI, and art design.

Developer(+2)

Funny that you mention that, I kept running into Jupiter over and over again while designing the level haha

(+1)

i kept running into the purple one near the end ;-;

Love the game! The wires look super cool

The art is adorable and well done. The music is compelling, and the theme is very on point.

The first level was very "bennet foddy" for me. It took me a bit to grasp what the different pips and dots meant, but once I did the space level was quite fun!

I liked the micro/macro state expansion you have here.

Good submission :)
