How does your game fit the theme?
The world is built to the tiny scale of soot mites. As you move them about the world, they scale in size to reflect their distance. They also scale in number through the course of the game as you build homes and upgrades, and your operation must scale with them.

Really good art and fun gameplay! Like how the selection works too. Not sure if it’s intended but since it’s not clear what can be upgraded, it was fun discovering the upgrades.
This is one of the more addictive games I've played! After a while, you essentially get enough soot sprites to completely maximize production with as little loss as possible. I was a bit confused by the UI at first, as I didn't realize what clicking on the different elements did and what some of the upgrades meant, but I got the hang of it by the second round or so. My high score is 112 baths given, 12,240 total gold earned and 2681 coal burned!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, you almost beat my high score of 117 baths - 13180 gold - 3074 coal :D
Took me a minute or two to realize what I actually had to do and associate the tasks in the top left with the boiler's purple bar on the right. Once I got it though it pretty fun. The little soots going turbo mode and working super fast was amusing too.
Absolutely brilliant! The gameplay, the art, and the audio are all top notch, plus the Spirited Away inspiration just makes me love it even more.
such a charming game with a great concept!! these soot sprites are my children now!!! I enjoyed every second of it and would love to see more!!!
very cute :3 I was bummed when I couldn't get more soot boys!!! But their animations are so ADORABLE and the pick up mechanic felt really fresh and useful
A really cool and cute game! It was nice and enjoyable, congratulation for making this cool experience!
So cute, engaging, with excellent references and gameplay! Congrats, I had a lot of fun playing it, thanks for the experience!
Addictive and super cute! I sat here playing it for like a solid half an hour, and I can definitely see myself coming back to play it again. Also I adore the little soot sprites so much 💜 Awesome job!
Loved every part of this game! I'd happily play much more of this. The soot sprites are so adorable. I want to take them all home with me. An altogether excellent jam entry! Very well done!
The perfect game for a Ghibli Studio fan. I would spent hours on play this cozy game. It's so fun!! I love it. Soot mites' sound and animations are so cute. Thank you for doing this game :3
Everything about this game is very satisfying, the visuals, the sound effects, the upgrading of stuff. The simple joy of having little guys run around.
I love everything about this. I want to play more!
Wow amazing entry!! Awesome art style! We had a lot of fun with it! Great job!
absolutely very adorable game!! i had lots of fun directing the little soot mites and artstyle is very cute !!
This rocks, amazing style, great gameplay, adorable little guys. I would give my life to upgrade their house with a little plant.
Soot sprites love plants! :D they will work faster when you buy decorations for their houses, which includes a little bush out front and planter boxes in the windows. Thanks for playing!
very nice style, love the little creatures. a tutorial would be nice, but a very cool idea! could be great with some more clarity
I really liked playing this game, the art was so cute, and watching the dust mites working was pretty fun. I'd say there should have been a tutorial at the beginning to show how the boiler room worked but overall great job!
Beautiful little game! A very polished experience and I enjoyed playing through the day. It took me a second to find/see the coal/water pump meter thing and understand those types of bath tickets (I just thought they were blank), but I did figure it out! But maybe a highlight around the pump meter at the start would help. This was an awesome game! I love spirited away!
I absolutely love what you’ve done with this game! I found it satisfying to get into a good rhythm and it’s a really cool take on the scene. (I also have a sticker of the dust sprites on my laptop 😄)
