Woaa goodjob, I love this
I love the art a lot, the game design is cute, the idea is the basic scaling idea but the controls and gameplay really stood out here, it’s very cool. the team is huge I can imagine the teamwork being difficult!
I think this game would go well with a small speedrunning aspect (for example, a timer somewhere, maybe even a leaderboard for whole runs) I really think those kind of things introduce replayability especially in puzzle games where once you solve a puzzle, it’s not really as fun to do it again. It’s what I did with my own entry (which you can try btw haha)
I really wish there is a windows build; Yes for jams browser games are better but having windows as another option is really convenient for people whose device isn’t great at running browser games, and it doesn’t take much work so!
overall, pretty nice entry yall, great work (:
Thank you so much for your feedback! We're thrilled you enjoyed the art and gameplay. Adding a speedrunning aspect is a fantastic idea, and we'll definitely consider it to enhance replayability. We’ll also look into providing a Windows build for more accessibility. Thanks again for the great suggestions and for playing our game! 😊
Beautiful art! Simple yet well executed concept. I love that we have a finite amount of size changing, that we can apply to both ourselves and the environment.
I don't know if this was intentional, but I solved the last room by shrinking the bottom box, pushing it all the way to the right, and then riding it up. The water started to submerge the box completely, but it didn't kill the character.
Would love to see where the game goes past jam!
Thank you for the kind words! We're glad you enjoyed the art and the concept, especially the finite size-changing mechanic. Regarding the last room, yes, that's currently the only solution available to pass that section (we had planned a second solution, but didn't have time to fully polish it). We're excited to explore where the game could go beyond the jam as well! Thanks again for playing and for your feedback!
Despite the simple mechanics this is truly a fun game! I really loved the magician kitty design and also the false leads inside the levels that let you discover your own way to solve the game, a very good idea overall!
Even despite all rough edges, I liked the game! As a game designer, I mostly liked that levels always had false leads in them (parts that lead player to nowhere, just to make player think about a solution and not just run through all options).
Polish+fix here and there, add some levels, and it could be a nice small game even outside gamejam. Good luck!
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the game and appreciated the intentional design of the levels with false leads. It's great to hear that this aspect resonated with you as a game designer. We're definitely considering polishing and expanding the game further. Your encouragement means a lot — thank you, and we appreciate the good luck wishes!
Enjoyed the game! The character is cute and the visual style is great! The level design was good and I really liked the two different potions and all their possible uses. I managed to skip some levels without using any potions though, and I'm unsure if that was intended (iirc, the jump pad level). For the final level I pushed the box through the hole and travelled all the way up using the water - I feel like if this is the solution the water speed could be upped a little as I spent a while not moving. Other than that, this was a great entry! Extend my congrats to the whole team. :]
Love the art style <3 The combination of the throwing mechanic suits well with the gameplay. Kudos for this
I had fun with this. The jumping seems a little unwieldy. I found it to work better with a controller, but the controls didn't seem to all be implemented. Really great altogether though, with the music and visuals.
I could have been mecanics I see everywhere in the jam. BUT the movement, physics and the throwing things really make a difference, giving it muuuuch more fun!
The game is really nice! It's a good mix of puzzle and platformer. Enjoyed it. :)
Very cool game ! The platformer is interesting and not so confusing or complex, liked it !
Thank you so much for the kind words! We're thrilled that you enjoyed the game and the art style. We appreciate the feedback on the levels — we plan to fine-tune them to make the experience more balanced and enjoyable. Also on the post-jam version we're going to make the game more intuitive for everyone. Thanks again for your support!
I had difficulty understanding how to use the potion. At first I thought you could only use it by pressing the mouse button, but then I realized that you have to keep pressing and choose the direction and then release the button.I found tricky to do some levels I don't know if I'm not so clever or if there are some bugs.
The way you showed graphically the area where you can bounce is very creative in my opinion. Is it honey?
Anyway it was fun to play. I love the main character. Cats are always adorable!
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the game and the main character — cats really do add a special charm!
As for the bouncing area, it's actually something like "alchemical substance" (red for enlarging, blue for shrinking, honey-like substance makes objects bouncing). We appreciate you pointing out the potion mechanics, and we'll work on making them more intuitive.
Thanks again for playing!
