Hello! I absolutely loved your game. It is quite relaxing and at first I was scared I'd run out of seeds eventually but then I started just planting as much as I could. The concept is really good and I would love for it to be expanded on eventually! Sadly I think I accidentally skipped a dialog box when I got all the animals out. Overall I had a wonderful time just gardening for a while. Thank you for you hard work, and I hope you had a lot of fun making this!
What an incredible game ! There is so much potential!
Some random feedback:
- I never used the scanners, it was faster to browse the map with the mouse. Maybe being able to switch between views faster, or combine the 3 views into one would be a good addition
- I noticed that I spent more time looking at the scanner at the bottom right rather than the map which is a shame given the magnificent artwork you did
- a small z-ordering problem: when you put plants behind a tree they appear in front
- at the end I tended to click everywhere without really paying attention to the scanner, it could be interesting to add a seed rarity system. Maybe the robot should collect them from the plants so that their quantity is limited, and we develop more sophisticated plants as we go along
In any case it remains an incredible work in 3 days, congratulations! (it could totally be extended into a full game :D)
Thank you very much for your feedback. All what you said is known, just not enough time to do.
We're planning to do a post jam update , we'll try to fix as much as possible and polish more as well! (and a teased feature might get out of its burrow)
Thank you very much for the feedback, that's always appreciated !
42 cookies is a lot, you know? Congratulations to your team, the game looks so comfortable. I love the design and sound of the little robot :)
If you could try and rate my game, I'd be grateful!
I really love the way you've implemented the different zones.
Your art style and sound design is also amazing!
A very original concept, a very beautiful and relaxing game, a magnificent OST... Very good work !
We really loved the concept of the game especially the radars and how you have to manage fertility water etc... We look forward to your future creations :D
Really nice graphics and sounds. Amazing in only 3 days. It is my first jam and i didn´t finish at all. Yours looks amazing
Pretty unique concept. I enjoyed locating perfect spots for different plants and seeing the forest grow up. The forest seems to also affect the environment, which is really cool.
Good presentation and concept and I liked the different scanning modes/plant requirements, although I found it difficult to tell when I made a good choice with my plants.
Interesting ideas, to be sure!
Chill atmosphere, very cool art. The planting mechanic doesn't seem very intuitive, maybe having the robots face change to different expressions based on the plants needed stats and where you are trying to plant could be a nice touch. Overall good game!
I love the cozy vibe you have going. How you have to place the plants correctly to slowly create a better environment for better plants, is really cool. And the art, OMG!!! Really great game, congrats!
