How does your game fit the theme?
Bibliotopia is a calm world, but soon it will meet a vicious storm.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
- Just going to put this here.. but the leaderboards error is intentional. You ended the game, I just can't load the leaderboards. Due to Unity WebGL not allowing me to do my API calls.

All code, assets and sprites where build from scratch.
- Excluding Shaders

Lots of fun, really love the artstyle, especially the tornado!

Very fun to play and the art is incredible, congratulations to everyone involved!

This kind of gave me Katamari Damacy vibes. Great job on the art! I enjoyed it up to the error.

Pretty cool idea for this genre!

Great tornado graphics.  I liked playing a tornado, fun idea.

Not a lot of calm before this storm, but I liked this game. Reminds me of a lot of classic eat stuff grow bigger games I used to play in school as a kid. Hence the .io name Im guessing. Great work, well polished game with good art, a very well detailed UI, voice acting and everything

About the calm.. well, you were the one breaking the glass dome. You created the storm. You are responsible. Poor Bibliotopia will never recover from this because of you... (but I hope you had great fun playing it haha) Thanks for the feedback! <3

Fun Game

Very cute and fun game to play. I got the WebGL error but I was having loads of fun until then. Did you make all the wind sound effects yourself?

Developer

Yes, the sounds were fun to make haha, it's not only the wind haha. Each sound was made by voice only, except for the music tune, which was made in Ableton Live :)

A really gorgeous game that takes the hurricane.io concept and makes it light and easy on the eyes. I hope you continue to work on this project because there's definitely potential to grow(pun intended) here.

Developer

Nice pun! We also added some in the game, which was quite noticable I guess ;) Thanks for the feedback!

I like the idea of eating buldings and growing larger and being the storm. It would be cool if the different buildings you absorbed gave you different abilities or something if the game was expanded.  Or maybe at a certain size you can start effect the weather. Though i guess that might mess with the simplicity of an IO style game. The leaderboards seem like a cool feature, but i also ran into the api call bug.

My favorite part was all the illustrations for the tornado phases.

I like the graphics!

I really loved the animations, the design and the overall look and sound design. It really feels like great. But I think the game is lacking a bit in the gameplay (atleast for me) and kinde not fitting the theme. IMO the theme is more about the "calm" part instead of the "storm" part because its called "calm before the storm". I think you have a lot of talent and will have no problem making a great and finished game out of this!
