Enjoyed this one, i was able to get into tourism early and make a ton of money and beat the game fairly quickly. I liked the idea of some of happiness increasing items saying they were useless, and the residents breaking buildings but felt that it could have been pushed a bit further somehow regarding the theme, as i was able to easily outpace the destruction of buildings with monetary growth. I was impressed by how many things to buy there were as well. Great job.
Atmosphere is really on point, the unsettling animations of the photos works really well with the music and general design of the scenes. I had a hard time understanding the what the items did, i was able to buy and use all of them, but none of them had any obvious effects. My assumption is that the items could be used to delay certain NPCs from hitting the button, but i couldn't tell if it was working. For the first few rounds i just waited around 50k and then hit the button to go and buy an item. Eventually I lost two rounds, and i guess that made me lose the game? The initial tension was very much there, but it faded over a few rounds since it feels relatively safe to just wait to a mid number and cash out and the stakes/mechanics were a bit unclear. I think that maybe if the rounds went a bit faster at least at the start, and maybe there could be little random mixups during the rounds, like something rustling in the backround, a jerky animation, or the money randomly increases, all things that might startle you into hitting the button early, it could really push the tension and mechanics in the game.

Love the slipper gun. I kept picking attacking speed so i could just keep moving in a straight line and mowing everyone done. Eventually got overwhelmed by the enemies and died though. It said my score was Zero at the end though, not sure if that's a bug or if didn't understand the scoring system. Would be cool if there were other types of upgrades.
Definitely a lot of text heavy games this jam. Many are good, but they often require alot of time/brain power lol, get it for sure. Gave your game a play/rate/comment

Interesting game, I liked that i could just shoot everyone lol. A small improvement i think would go along way is being able to tell what parts of the environment I'm able to interact with, something like the mouse cursor changing sprite or an outline around the object would go along way. I reached a point where i couldn't seem to interact with anything after talking to and shooting a few people and couldn't tell if it was a bug or there was something i was missing. Overall great job though.
Great visuals & animations and its cool to see another baby sitting type game in the jam lol. I had a little bit of a hard time getting to grips with the incident/accusation system and understanding how my monkeys were getting naughty mostly because the first incident happens so quickly when you start playing. I think if there was just a little bit longer for me to get to grips with the cameras/cleaning/watching/jailing naughty monkeys before the accusation game came into play, i would have enjoyed it more, especially since failing to understand it causes an instant game over. Overall really cool though, feels like its just a few little tweaks away from an old browser game i woulda logged a tons of hours into.
We would love to hear your thoughts on our game!

This game is very silly, and i like the idea of having to cook while fending off customers that will steal from you, but the cooking is quite complex with all the different recipes/ingredients/stations. Its admirable that all that stuff is in the game, but it was hard to grasp how to cook anything. I think the cooking could have been simplified a bit, and it would be nice to be able to see the recipes while in the game & have text showing you what each item/station is when you are near to it. I still had fun blasting all my customers with a shotgun though. Great job.
Enjoyed it overall, thought the characters were well written but got stumped on how to open the safe, which seemed like the only way forward after talking to everyone, looking at everyone's suspicious item, and getting into the gun safe. I wish the note book had been tutorialized slightly as i didn't think to take notes until i eventually clicked on it and saw that was something i could do. Also, unsure how to progress i accidentally ended the game when accusing Robert of blackmail, because i guess i thought the accusing of something not explicitly related to the inheritance would open up a new dialouge tree or something. In hindsight the tab is literally marked 'Conclude' but all the different options of how to combine the info and people made me think it would give me more content instead of instantly ending the game, Also call me a casual, but, at least in the context of a jam, i wished i coulda gone back and brute forced or tried to find more without having to restart the whole game. The artwork and style was nice as well, and I played for about an hour.
Very well executed little horror game. Great atmosphere and i was tense the whole time. I liked how it was hard to tell if the inmates were going to attack you based on their weird animations or them chilling in sneaky spots, even though very few would actually attack you, and just enough narrative elements to frame the whole thing, like it made sense that they wanted out but wanted to kill you cause your evil, but also are kinda unstable themselves, and each ones a little different, all good for building the unpredictable atmosphere. I walked around the corner and thought i saw a guy hiding but it was the vats with the subjects in them. I killed the scientist at the end but forgot to go back and see if i could rescue people cause i was eager to leave.
Cool game, The FMV portions were a nice way to frame the story, and made me think of inscription. Wanted to play back through and see how my choices would affect the game but grew tired of the slow walk speed after the first time around. Still, it had an intriguing story, and I liked the little moments like the cable reaching for your phone. Great job
The mechanic of being able to place your own platform is pretty cool, though it took me a bit to realize that you can hit E any time during the projectiles flight to make the platform instead of just double tapping. I had a hard time properly timing my jumps to land on the platforms as well. The Ai telling you the worst way to go is interesting, but i would have liked to at least have an objective marker on the end of the level to be able to better form an idea of how to path creatively to the end. I also wish i had a stamina or cooldown bar of some variety for the projectile and wall running cause i had a hard time understanding when it would run out. I wasn't able to make it that far but i enjoyed what i played and the visuals are great.
This game was really fun! I spent time getting to the end (or so I thought) and liked the core gameplay loop. It was a bit hard to tell when a rogue was active, besides the guide telling me, but I think it was fine to the overall experience. I liked the little upgrades, and maybe wish that there was a little more to the game? but overall really enjoyed it. Good work!
Cool concept that for me, didn't really translate well in the gameplay. I spent a lot of time wandering around the house inspecting different things, and had no real idea what was even going on. This could be simple user error, but overall I think that the idea is really cool. Visuals were good, I love a good PSX game. Good work!
The visuals are cool, but I couldn't tell what was happening. I didn't know if I controlled the arrows or if they were automatic. The shop UI was cool visually, but I think it was too hard to click on anything or read the information with it bouncing around so much. Anyway, very cool visually and an interesting concept!
Game is fun for sure, and I had a good time playing. I was able to pay off the debt by night 5, which felt like a good length, though I do wish that there was a little more to it. It was hard for me to get a sense of the theme, but it was a really fun and enjoyable experience. Think it could be something with more time!
The art is nice and the movement mechanics are interesting though the collision/camera is a little finicky, not sure if that's just on the web version. I think if there were more enemies you had to fight and and the monster came a bit more often, with more places to hide i think it could be cool. During the boss with the monster dog enemy, i thought it would be cool to be able to hide to dodge his attacks. Nice job.
I like the art and it the way the prompt would lie to you is interesting. I got a little frustrated at one point, wishing there was coyote time for some of the more unforgiving jumps. It could be cool to have a shake up where multiple rule sets switch in and out on a screen from something like pressing buttons passing thresholds. Lots of potential here.
Really cool mechanics and interpretation of the theme. I liked how the mechanics developed over the course of the levels and i think this could be really great little game with a little bit of polish. The look detection on the back is extremely unforgiving, especially on webgl where the camera likes to randomly jerk around, but i still made it to what i think was the last level, the large maze, where i finally gave up due to getting frustrated. The levels up to then were good little puzzles on where to look and how to use your different tools but the level i got to was very chaotic and difficult to piece together how to navigate when I'm constantly getting view sniped from all angles. It felt like i needed another tool (something thing that can block sightlines or reveal enemies around corners?) or a few more levels to develop my understanding before dealing with a level of that complexity. I also would have liked a reset button cause i kept accidentally shooting the gun and then having to walk into an enemy to restart and get my bullets back, and that quickly sucked the tension out of the the otherwise good atmosphere. Maybe improve the detection of the camera? All said, really enjoyed this game and the 'aha' moments it gave me, and would love to see you polish it up for a full release.
Really interesting concept and interpretation of the theme, but i wasn't really able to play that well despite using the downloaded version cause the mouse controls wouldn't lock the mouse to the center of the screen so turning effectively was difficult. Having to find the cameras and get to them based on where they are watching from is a really cool idea for a platformer, but i would have liked to maybe have the game start in a smaller level, or have the cameras start closer to you, cause quickly my whole screen filled with cameras looking at parts of the map that i didn't know where they were, and combined with the mouse camera it made it very disorienting and difficult to find my way around within the time limit . I keep repeating it but really solid and unique idea that I think absolutely could be extended into a full game. Great job despite technical issues.
Cute game with great assets. I ran into a few bugs, and couldn't seem to progress the game after dropping the coffee through the floor. I think it would be nice to have something like interact prompts that let you know what doors you can open/items you can pickup. I liked that the interpretation of the them was incompetence rather than lying.
Very nice game. It was difficult to piece together the case from the clues because the dialogue was focused on being funny, but it succeeded at that and art/dialogue got a few laughs out of me. It would be nice to have something that lets you review the dialogue/clues before making your decisions at the end. Googoogaga
God its so hard to tell what's AI and what's not nowadays, i dread having to ask myself if its AI or not the rest of my life. I like that you included some early AI images as well that were more easy to tell, as well as the more advanced stuff. A fairly standard accept or reject game but a good topical interpretation. Sort of going off what others have said, it would be nice if there was maybe a breakpoint in the middle to show your progress, or even just showing approximately how many submissions are left, or maybe having the people argue with your decision and defend their piece. I also enjoyed the cutscene at the end and some of the sillier images and text messages people sent,.
