How does your game fit the theme?
it fits pretty well as it is dark and mysterious, the more you replay it, the more you discover, Im willing to add more secret stuffs and eventually achievments for you to collect
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
all code was made by me souly, and some assests are either edited, "borrowed" or just by me

There's a lot to like in this. The use of mouse control for lighting was neat but also adds a new level of challenge. The production values were great, with how the camera would provide an intro to the levels and all the funny death sounds. That being said, I think the intro scene for levels should probably only happen the first time. With a game like this, having a quick restart to jump back into the challenge keeps things motivating.
Thank god for double jump though, eh?
The death sfx were really funny, heheh.
I really liked the game but sometimes it was a bit hard for me to control! The sound was really high quality, many games didn't even have enough time to add. I can say u did very good w this game! ☺
It was sooooo much fun, great game indeed, one of my favourites now, but it is too hard :D, isn't it? is it just me not being skillfull enough lol :D.
the idea of controlling both character and the light is awesome, and hardness of the game makes it fun, I really had fun playing it, I will keep it and try to complete later :D .
falling sounds are verry funny good job there as well :D
Here is my game if someone wants to check

It is a really cool concept. But there are just few things that I found really annoying. Having dash on E is just strange to say the least and in one level it said to spam shift (which does nothing) so I am just confused why you cannot dash with shift. After all pressing E while trying to press A or D is just inconvenient. The level showcase is a cool idea, but it being unskippable makes it almost rage inducing in the last level where you have to wait longer than the attempt itself.

A really awesome platformer game. wish it had some more quality of life but its a game jam so who cares.
Audio is really good, graphics dont disappoint either. Gameplay is pretty good too.
8.5/10 :)
Very cool game!
Challenging nice game with cool death sounds :D Torch gave this platformer nice flavor
Nice game. Definitely a challenge with the combo of moving the knight and using the torch. Amazing. And great sound effects, especially when falling.
I played it and it looked good, but I think you should balance the game a bit. The movement is so fast and it's hard to parkour. Also, the camera movement is very fast and unmanageable. And lastly, the game doesn't fit the jam theme but it's okay. Nice job man!
for the theme, you are quiet right, time had got me very tired, and I was planning on a full story where the castle was on like some kind of party, when a saw suddenly came and destroyed it, and then, the player or the hero waked up in the dungeon he was kidnapped in, but as I was learning godot and gdscirpt, I wasn't able to implement it, so I stick to a like the narrative thing on the very first level
The game looked great, and the torch was a cool idea that really added to the atmosphere. But I kept falling into the void during the cinematics (mostly because I kept pressing D to move before the game actually started), which made it a bit frustrating with the death animation that always played afterward. Aside from that, the game is really cool. Good job!!
The game was pretty interesting, moving the torch is an interesting mechanic that could be great with a little more development. My biggest complaint would be that lack of tutorialization, as I had no idea sort of what was going on for a little while there. The character controller was also a little stiff, and maybe could have benefitted from a little more time. Overall, good job!
great idea! Good job, the game feels really polished and well put together
The art assets and sounds you have picked work well together. The touch mechanic is interesting. To improve, have a couple tutorial levels to explain/show mechanics like double jump and dash. Furthermore, don't good from an easy level straight into a hard level it's off putting and doesn't allow the player to gain / learn how to play the game. For the saw, give the players a bit more starting space, you can have the camera show the saw and then snap it back to the player.
Seems like you really had fun with the falling sound hahahah, absolutely loved dying in this game! The torch mechanic is really unique and kinda makes a “simple” platformer more challenging. Not sure about the theme, but I loved the game design and the art. Good stuff! :)

its.......
AWESOME!!!
This is very good. Nice sounds, nice controls, nice level designs. Loved having the torch as a separate controller. But it was also very hard for me (not a platformer player). I would have loved a few more levels before having to play repeatedly to get anywhere.
A solid platformer with a nice art style. I like the torch mechanic although it makes this punishing game even more punishing. But the changing death sound effects are a nice touch. Maybe change the dash from "E" to something else like "Shift" for more comfortable controls?
This is THE best game jam game i have ever played. It was really fantastic, and the fact that you had to move the torch to the player in order to see where you are going was just fantastic. Welldone.
