How does your game fit the theme?
The game involves needing to manage a city as it is getting progressively more flooded from a storm occuring. Theres a relatively calm early game where you can build anywhere and then eventually everything becomes flooded in late game as the storm gets stonger
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

Lovely graphics and really good use of theme.
Shame about the money bug but otherwise it's a really polished game. The concept of the progressive flooding is really cool and I love the art style of the game. Great work!
This is amazing! This has potential. Great work people! 🔥🔥

The game really stands out with its impressive polish and engaging core mechanics! The isometric art style gives it a delightful charm, reminiscent of cozy town builders. However, I found the initial onboarding a bit challenging; clearer cues for incoming storms or flood events would greatly improve understanding. Overall, great work on the UI and gameplay!
I liked this a lot, lots of great polish and a solid core loop It took me a minute to understand what was going on so I think some better telegraphing of incoming storms or the floods actually happening would be beneficial but that’s the only criticism I have - interface is fantastic, love me a good management game and the isometric art style gave me ‘Into the Breach’ meets cozy town builder. Loved it!
Amazing art and UI, found the onboarding very rough and was lost for a while on what to do. Im sure with a nice tutorial or smth explaining will be amazing. Overall really great work and very polished for a jam.
The art and UI are pretty great, and this fits the theme pretty well too. Onboarding experience was a bit rough, but understandable after playing around with it a bit. Great work.
A bit confusing and I think the readability could for sure be better but I adored the art and the polish is really good!
Loved the game! Only thing that I can say is add a way for the player know you need to assassin people in order to building to work and maybe have an inventory of wheat and dirty water so you can know if you produce them fast enough!
I love me a resource management game! Very interesting mechanic to have to deal with floods. I was looking for something that would allow me to build a wall or barricade against the flood to protect my little settlements. Was thinking that could be an interesting thing to add down the line, where you could potentially eventually build villages on stilts that would survive deeper floods.
The music and the isometric style was very well done, great vibe all around.
Was sad to see my first village get swallowed by the flood and then see it in ruin when the flood receded :'(.
The mechanics of having the safer area higher up the map, but less land to build on was well thought out. Making the land a scarce resource in and of itself.
Great work!
Great looking isometric style, and the sound is very nice. The managing of population between floods was a cool idea and I liked building up a system to manage survival. Seems like the type of thing I'd like to play on the go. While I'd like a little more feedback around deaths and other things, you've already got a great system and engaging UI elements for a week long project!
This was so fun. lovely art, after I lost the first time I realized how the game was supposed to work: bank up enough resources and food to be able to survive. put the most valuable buildings higher up. I made it through 17 levels! I was initially unsure how I felt about the ruins left behind, but they made building choices that much more interesting. really cool, well done
Cute little game, the sound and artwork are top notch. I couldnt figure out why my people kept dying for a bit. Definetly need a few tooltips at the start, but other than that great little submission :)
10/10 would pick a tsunami island to build a civilization again
Really loved the art stype. Game play was a bit hard to understand.
There isn't much to do just watch your people die and the most of stuff you built destroyed. That's not very satisfying in terms of the game feel. However everything else is implemented good!
People won't die unless you don't have enough space for them or you don't have enough food and water
It's possible to beat the game by surviving the last flood with people still alive
Oh, i didn't realize there was the last flood and thought you can't finish it. I might try again later then.
Last one is the flood level 5 (day 17 with each day being a water level change)
The pixel art is so well done!
As I began playing your game, I was impressed by how polished it feels. The pixel art and visuals are fantastic, and the music creates such a relaxing atmosphere. The game fits the theme really well and is both visually appealing and enjoyable to play!
It has all the elements to become a complete game, and I love the smooth gameplay experience. My only critique is that it wasn’t very intuitive at first. For example, the food and water systems weren’t clearly explained, and they didn’t appear on the UI, so I wasn’t sure how much I had. Once I realized the importance of saving resources to survive, the game became even more fun. It would be helpful to have the main resources, like food and water, displayed in the top right corner of the screen.
In short, it's a beautifully simple game that’s a real pleasure to play!
it’s that clever game you can play when you have a small window of downtime, totally love this game well done <3
