Description
My entry to the Impressions OST Jam 1 with the theme "Death Knight".
I created two tracks for imaginary dark exploration game - not truly horror, but definitely not a cozy one. In it player has to explore titular Death Knight's mansion to learn more about the past events.
1. Main menu - I went with slow melody with layered sound rains and some unsettling noises around. I think it fits perfect for a start of a game for a player to go through rain to set the mood
2. Mansion backyard - with this one I tried to keep somber mood, but give a bit of mystery, uncovering past and also (in later part) a bit of sense of danger and realisation that player does not have all the time in the world to explore, because there's something there

I've had cutoffs in my tracks that were not for looping...... just me not paying close enough attention when submitting! :P

Nice ambient piano pieces. Would love to hear this in a giant abandoned warehouse in the middle of the night. The Simplicity is a nice change of pace. I can exist with the music instead of waiting to be surprised by a constant introduction of instruments. Great work

Nice one! Eerie ambience with a dash of something like... nostalgia? And those soft rain sound really glue the whole thing together. Almost cozy, if not so spooky.
