Overall really solid game, the combination of action platformer and visual novel works surprisingly well. Loved the art and music, and the dialogue was great too. Great job!

How does your game represent "Power"?
in POWER OF LOVEBALL, you dabble against the forces of physical power (red), electrical power (yellow), political power (green), and of course, the most important power of all. The power of love!
Each type of power has a unique mechanism behind it that aims to represent the type of power as best we could.

Nice game. It feels a bit disjointed, almost like playing two different games, but the ride was pretty nice.
Being reseted after not hitting the enemy correctly can somtimes really be annoying. So maybe a healthbar or something would be nice.
Other than that, great artowrk and soundtrack!
As someone who never plays visual novels this was awesome! The mix with the platforming gameplay was super fun and unique! The different enemy types made it very tricky to try and navigate around. Plus as a Terraria fan the "magic missle" you used as an attack was sick.
Super fun and creative. I was hoping the platforming would be a bit more movement focused but that's just my biases talking; for the sake of a game jam, easy movement and simple goals is definitely a safer bet. Great job!
for a second there i thought i could outmatch the Rizzler... super interesting game and concept! i would love to see it more fleshed out and see more correlation between the robots and the bosses, they just kinda coexisted.. AMAZING WORK NONETHELESS!!
Super original concept! having playable levels mixed in with dating sims was hilarious.
The way you blended platforming with dating sims is really cool, and the dialogue was super funny!
This game is too easy for me, clearly this is because I am the rizzler in real life.
Nah but in all seriousness, this is great! Perfect length for a jam game, levels were the perfect balance between simplicity and challenge, the rizz battles were corny in the best way, and that soundtrack is SO GOOOOOD RAHHHHH. Oh and the art is beautiful too, can't forget.
I think I'm the one who's been rizzed here...
This one little secret about rizz that they hate... Seriously though, thanks for the +10 rizz and would rizz again. :D
This game was really fun! I loved the idea of having different ways of having to target different enemy types, and the idea of launching the tactical rizz grenade at your enemies was cracking me up. I will say, the green enemies could sometimes still spawn their attack after you killed them, which was essentially guaranteed to kill you, but that was the only real note I had. Great job!
Clever idea, never thought of mixing these two styles of gameplay together! As others have said would have been nice to connect the two together a bit more mechanically, but had a great time nonetheless. Also really liked all the character designs, and the music is outstanding!
i hit them with my balls, because rizz
seriously though, very cool and creative entry! As an aide, I think there's potential in this sort of "dual-format" game for more interplay between the two. like, unlocking rizz/dialog options via hidden collectables in the platforming segments, or getting extra boons for the platforming segments by successfully rizzin someone up. If you're considering continuing development on it in the future, that'd be a cool direction to go in! Great work!
