How does your game represent "Power"?
There's a power outage. Fear renders you powerless to fight against the shadows lurking in the dark. You must rely on the courage of your trusty Teddy to see you through the blackout and help you restore the power.

Very fun, I liked the theme, the sound effects were good spooky sound effects, I liked the two games being played at once where you had to do the breaker box and fight off shadows.
I liked all the puns haha. The music and sounds reminded me of old horror games I used to play when I was a kid. I especially like that you have to simultaneously solve the breaker box puzzles while warding off the shadows-- I had to really flex my multitasking muscles! I enjoyed playing!
bear-y nice job, I thought the dual part of warding off shadows while solving the minigame was pretty unique! The writing was very self aware which I found amusing, the info dump at the beginning had me worried but it became very clear what I had to do. I also liked the breaker step was *just* tedious enough to deter me from brute forcing the wires, very well thought out. Overall the difficulty was perfect for a jam game, well done!
Love the teddy!! I really liked that you could ward the ghosts AND do the wires - I really needed to concentrate there!
wheres my teddy, i need my own personal teddy.
good little game, the walking around while trying to do the wires simultaneously is pretty cool. the last level though inhibited movement so much i just stayed on the girl and spammed space. the enemy warding could be more refined, but this is a great jam entry.
whew! rolled credits on this one. Fun game! Teddy is such a good friend <3
I did find the breaker box instructions confusing. It would say like "match colors, these 2 colors a swapped", but then none of the colors matched? I just did trial and error on every box until i found the right combo. Not sure if the instructions were like that on purpose? or if it was supposed to be more clear?
This is really great! The premise is unique, the atmosphere is very effective, all the sound design is fitting and rightfully spooky, and the art is very enjoyable. That last breaker box gave me a run for my money. All of the puzzle solving was appropriately challenging and leveled in a manageable way. I did think there was a lot of explanation text at the first breaker box, but once it was acknowledged by the characters themselves I felt a lot better, haha. Great work!
Really neat concept! Simultaneous "action" play while solving puzzles is a real brain breaker :D
This game REALLY put my undiagnosed ADHD to the test! Loved the sound effects, writing and the design. The use of the theme was great and reminded me of the dread of my next utility bill :')
Yes! As soon as I clicked on Theodore and he talked I completely locked in lol. Super cute graphics, super cute game, love the writing(I could Bear-ly contain my laughter), music was great very atmospheric fit it perfectly. Love this game all around! Great Job guys!!!
Nice little touches through out, first puzzle was the biggest hurdle. Introducing the mechanics one step at a time would help. Good fun though.
the puzzles confused me a TINY bit at the beginning, but then it became really fun to try and figure them out while also trying to defend the main kid. Really enjoyable experience.
This is really good. I love the aesthetic of the game, with the bond between the scared child and their teddy bear. And the pixel art is great. It was difficult to figure out how the puzzles worked at first, but when I figured it out, it was super fun. I love the stress of juggling between solving the puzzle and fending off shadows, although I think the first puzzle should have let you learn how the electricity mechanics work before forcing you to juggle that with fending off shadows. Overall though, great job!
Pretty cute lil game! I think the whole simultaneous control mechanic was implemented pretty well and led to some fun situations of balancing both situations at once. I liked the wire puzzles enough and they were just confusing enough for me personally. I didn't just breeze through them instantly but i also didn't get stuck for too embarrassingly long. Pretty good presentation and a cute concept. Great work!
