Really love the concept, and the changes between different game genres feel very smooth. I wish the game was a bit longer - right now, the story feels more like a tutorial.
Still, great game. Well done!
I remember this game from round one. I still like the concept of switching genres. Well done.
A very interesting concept. The controls felt a bit clunky, I don't know why all of the Genres couldn't use WASD, but it was a minor issue. I also really like the implementation of the concept itself. I think given more time, this could be a great game!
Really cool how it switches! I really wish it was longer, as you never really got to use the mechanics properly. It was a bit unclear that I was supposed to press space at the box to trigger the dialogue, but other than that I had no issues. It feels like the animal (the ladybug) just as well could've been a human character (it has no animal like traits), and therefor I feel like it doesn't fit the restrictions 100%.
Woah... this is such an awesome idea for a game. I'd love to see you run with it and see how far you can take it!
I didn't play this the first round but this is such a cool concept for a game. Absolutely loved it. Great job!
As you all mentioned, it’s true. Aside from the bug fixes and the model changes in d-bug, there haven’t been any other significant changes. I had intended to focus solely on developing this game during the GDKO, but upon seeing that the tasks in Round 2 already existed in my game, I realized that I had committed too much too early, given my small capabilities during Round 1. So this time, I decided to put off the ideas I had in mind. However, in hindsight, I realize it would have been better to at least update the UI or focus on other quality improvements. I’m grateful for the interest in my game, and I apologize for any disappointments.
I agree with the previous comment, this game was honestly one of my favorites during the first round and I was really happy that you got to the next round, but I also wished for more content for the second round. Not necessarily more genres, but at least more levels and such.
This was cool! I'm a little confused because I think this was the exact same game you uploaded to round 1? Not complaining, I guess I'm just bummed out that there wasn't a few more new genres.
