Oh man Squid Game Sokoban, I love it. I love that this game doesn't take itself too seriously either. My wife kept trolling me the entire time. I don't know how we managed to get past some of those levels, but it was a blast. Took me a while to figure out the giant robot, though. I think if the boxes moved a set distance on touch like other grid-based Sokoban style games, it might be easier to control, but I also feel like that might take away from the frantic nature of physics-based goofiness. Definitely one of those things you can only really pull off well in a low stakes environment like a game jam. I think if you wanted to further develop this, I'd really focus on fine-tuning the physics and moment-to-moment gameplay, leaning hard on the silliness of failure. The more flashy and ridiculous a player can mess up, the better I would think. Anyway, that was a lot fun to play. Great job!

I died sooooo many times it's not funny!  Very nice game.  Great concept.  Hope to see more from this.

cool game!

Interesting and fun concept, I played two player which was very fun, though attempting to get those tiny blocks to fall on the boss was difficult!

Developer

Yeah it definitely needs a bigger collision area.

Not sure what to do on the level where the giant robot chases after the closer player-- all pushing all of the crates in did was spawn crates on the X's!

Developer(+1)

Spoiler: The boxes will fall down, which you can use to injure the robot. Takes 3 hits. It's pretty difficult though if you're playing single player. I actually accidentally uploaded a previous build. The robot was supposed to have 1 hp on easy, 2 on normal, and 3 on hard in addition to a win screen instead of looping. That's what I get for uploading so close to deadline.

Thank you for the tip. Now knowing what to do, I was able to beat the game on hard, solo! Thank you for making this game!

Thanks for playing!

wery cool concept, but sadly you need to have friend close to you(physically)

Developer(+2)

Yeah tell me about it. Solo dev here. No friends, haha.

I like the set up and all.

The puzzles felt a little slippery, which was frustrating.

But I did have a bit of fun with it. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Can you explain a bit more what you mean by slippery? I'd love the feedback.

The crates don't stop right away, so you have to time it a little bit so it slides into place, but doesn't over slide.

Got it. I agree. Thanks

Good luck everyone!
