You did a great job not making another unintentional rage game lol. The game is addicting, and the upgrades are fun. My criticism would be:
- The button areas are placed above the buttons themselves. This is a minor thing but it's just weird.
- I think having 0 coins being a lose condition is kinda weird. It prevents you from purchasing an upgrade if your total coins will be 0 after buying it, which doesn't really make sense to me.
Other than that, the gameplay and art is good. I think the game could be enhanced by having more variations in race tracks, and more grass patch variations in the background would make it more visually pleasing. Great work for the amount of time you had to make this!
