Charming and cozy resource management experience with a quirky galactic gardening twist. Watching your numbers grow and managing your seed collection creates an addictive gameplay loop! Overall, it's a delightful jam entry, great work!

Thank you! I have a feeling I will be adding a storage upgrade. ;)

It's a really fun game with such a unique premise! My favorite part is definitely the plant splicing, it adds a lot of layers to the gameplay! One thing I would suggest would be some type of storage system maybe for the seeds that you catch so it's easier to manage what you have. Other than that, great game!

Almost like a Martian... except for the potatoes.

Wow, this game is so much fun! I love watching the numbers grow bigger and bigger. It’s simple to pick up, and even though the graphics feel a little rough, it doesn’t matter at all—I’m totally hooked on earning money and growing those weird plants!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad the weird plants are bringing joy!

I like the atmosphere, you really feel the loneliness. The gameplay loop is satisfying too, I like going outside and catching seeds. Well done!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed!

Great idea! Indeed, nothing goes wrong! A nice, relaxing atmosphere! I would limit the area for seed drops or add a storage box for them.

Developer

I like the storage box suggestion! Thank you for playing!

A cozy and pleasant game about being a gardener in a deserted planet! I love the core gameplay loop, even though it's simple, it's very satisfying and quite addicting!

And I really like that you can combine multiple branches to one plant, it adds a great layer of complexity to the game, overall this is a fantastic game, great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and providing feedback!

Really interesting idea. I think you should take the grafting idea and make it more about finding different combinations.

Developer

Agreed! Thanks for playing!

Very nice game! Splicing plants together was a really cool idea and fun to play with. The art is pretty cool too. The one piece of advice I might offer is to make the storm outside where you catch seeds into one screen only. That way you might get to use some skill in catching, where as right now it depends on luck. All in all a great job though. Well done.

Would be great if you can check out my game too, please. Thanks

Developer(+1)

That is a great suggestion. Thank you!

I really liked this game, it's so charming, and I loved the wonkiness of the UI, this game has a great sense of style

Growing and snipping the plants was fun, I was a bit confused at first, but then I got the hang of it! I just think it might get a bit boring in the long run doing the same thing over and over, but I do see potential for a full release

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I have been working on potential avenues to keep the game loop straightforward but also stave off "sameness".

Wow this is really nice. The gameplay loop is satisfying right away, and art and music make it very cozy.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Neat game, the art is nice! might have had a bug cause I couldn't seem to grow more branches

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'll have to look into possible causes...

Fun game! Really enjoyed having the dialogue throughout the game and the different styles of interacting/style of gameplay. Also the art is really pleasing and well done, especially the garden art!

Thank you!

Cool premise and nice implementation. The despawning seeds was a bit vexing. I get that you wanted to make seed collection challenging, so it might be worth coming up with a diegetic (in-game, lore appropriate) reason for them to disappear. Other than that, nice gameplay.

Developer(+1)

I agree! In a post jam update I'm planning on adding a quality attribute. The seeds won't immediately disappear so much as decay. A seed caught in flight will have a higher quality than a seed that has been left lying on the ground.

I appreciate the feedback!

Sweet base for an addictive resource management game, really liked the aesthetics, gave me some old school lucas arts vibes

Thank you!

Good job making this, I enjoyed playing it! I think the graphics are good. The little alien creature is cute, and the plants have enough variety to feel interesting. The music might be a little repetitive, but for the short duration it took to finish the jam version it was no issue.

I think the plant mechanics works, but could be expanded. Maybe the orders could have a variety of traits they're looking for in the plants, like 4 heal + 2 aesthetic to make trimming and splicing feel more worth doing.

Hope you had fun making the game :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback and I agree with your points. I'm folding some suggestions into a post jam update. Thanks again!

Submitted(+1)

i like the idea. I would wish if there was an upgrade system for planting pots. it would be nice to mass produce more plants lel. Great job.

Developer

This is a great suggestion! I had plans for upgrades, but had to cut them to meet the deadline. I am folding suggestions into a post jam update. Thanks!
