Thanks for the feedback, someone else commented about your same concern with the bullet appearance, so I'll definitely keep that in mind. Initially my thought process was that since you have to dodge your own bullets too it wouldn't really matter, but I can definitely see how it could still cause trouble and just help keep track of things on screen.
