How does the game fit the theme?
Nothing can go wrong for you. Nothing could have gone wrong for him. But for nothing to have gone wrong at all, everything must go wrong for both of you.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used the Brackeys Platformer Asset Bundle for assets, sound effects, and music from One Man Symphony. Full credits are given on the game page.

Really cool idea! I like the mechanic of the other player moving back in time when you switch to the other character. It has a cool effect when it happens too which I like a lot. I don't think I really understood the goal of the game, I managed to get all the coins, but wasn't sure what to do after that. Had fun playing tho, great work!
Thanks, and glad you liked the time inverse mechanism. The idea is that both of them can escape the time loop only when they die together. Hint: Try falling with the rock and one of the knights from the moving platform.
I like the idea, it still needs some work on the game design because players might feel overwhelmed when playing for the first time since the core mechanic is not exactly intuitive, maybe add a more detailed tutorial? Nice project for a week of development anyways, good job :)
Thank you for playing and giving your honest feedback. I agree with you. I'll definitely add a tutorial to make the players familiar with the core mechanic and make the goal a bit more clearer.
really cool idea, I love the idea of a puzzle where I have to figure out the timing of two different characters in two different timelines at the same time, i have not found the solution yet but still really interesting!
Thanks, and glad you liked the idea. Hint: Try falling with the rock and one of the knights from the moving platform.
super creative concept - i had a bit of a skill issue though lol. i can absolutely see the potential for this kind of game
Thank you so much! I don't think it's an issue with your skill, lol. My instructions should've been a bit clearer.
I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to be doing. I got all the coins and threw myself at everything for little to nothing to happen.
Oh. That's alright. I should've made the goal more clearer, as some of the comments said. The goal is to kill both of them at the same time. I'll rework on the level design and add a tutorial once the jam ends. Thanks for playing it though!
Cool mechanic, really great for being your first game actually. Well done!
Thank you so much! Glad you liked the mechanic.
What a trippy concept! AMAZING job for your first game, this was not boring or unoriginal. You really got experimental with it and brought a vibe all its own. I'm still wracking my brain on how to beat it haha. I'd find a way to have a tutorial level or easier first mission where players can more easily grasp the puzzle and mechanics. I think with the right difficulty curve this could really shine as a full game
Thank you so much for your detailed and optimistic review! I agree with you. I was planning on creating a tutorial and a cutscene but couldn't learn and implement within the timeframe. I'll continue working on this and make it a full game, as you said. :D
Very interesting concept. Need a clearer goal/direction for player to know what they need to do.
Anyway, kudos for your first game!
Yeah, I agree. I'll definitely rework the level design and progression. Thanks for playing and giving your feedback.
Haven't managed to beat iy yet but I certainly will, good brain-scratcher!
Sure, thank you for trying it out!
Hello, the game just completely broke my brain, but somehow, I managed to succeed! No idea how, but I did it. Honestly, well done!
Thank you so much, and congrats on succeeding! :D
You're very welcome! And thank you! 😃 By the way, feel free to check out my game when you have time!
This was fun, but I will admit that I was struggling to solve the puzzle at first. I haven't really played too many games that deal with time in this way. It was really refreshing. Plus I like the aesthetic of the game as a whole. Very clean and polished. Great job. Hopefully it is developed further.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I was planning on making a tutorial or a cutscene before the level loads. Unfortunately, I couldn't. That could've definitely made it more playable!
I really liked the puzzle in this (even though im too stupid to solve it lol) but it's a really great concept and a great job for your first game too!
Thank you so much for your kind wishes!
i was so determined to figure this out but i had to give up but i will be back and i will beat this. Everything else was great!
Thank you! Hope you managed to beat it.
Wow I am way too stupid to do this Really cool concept though
Hey, not at all. I should've added a tutorial to this first. Glad you liked the concept, though
Great execution, Amazing game for first game jam. But my head too smooth to play this kind of game lmao. Amazing game
Thank you very much! Lol, no worries; I might have complicated the game a bit..
Extremely well done for a first game. Honestly just needs a tutorial level and this could make for dozens if not hundreds of puzzles.
Thank you! Yeah, I agree. I'm definitely adding a tutorial level for this.
Really cool puzzle mechanic. Tried multiple times but thinking has never really been my forte. Really awesome game though!
Thanks for trying your best and giving the feedback!
I like a good puzzle game, I couldn't get them to die together, was a bit hard to figure out the reverse thing. I think for the first level you could have character 2 moving opposite direction every time you move character 1, then level two could just be the same character and environment but adding the time difference thing. This would allow player to get a feeling for the game first then be challenged in a harder level. Good concept, I hope you carry on developing the concept. Well done for the entry
True! I should have made the character switching and time inversion mechanism a bit more clear through a tutorial level, as you said. And then moved to interacting with objects on level 1 and then showed the level in the game. I'll work on this further. Thanks for the suggestion!
good job. cheers!
Thank you so much!
