Artist notes
Thanks for listening! This is my first completed track since starting to learn Cubase and mixing. Violin track by yours truly, all other sounds via Halion Sonic.

WOW! That was amazing.
I feel like it was heavily classical music inspider (wich is great). Some parts of the lute(?) part sound so much like a piece I know, but cannot remember xd
And the violin playing, it's very beautiful. I'm impressed, it's such a hard instrument to play.
LOVELY modulations all around. I'm a huge proponent of live players, so this was very nice. You mentioned this being your first track since you began mixing, and it was still very nicely done. Keep at it!!
I have no words to describe how beautiful this song is, your mastery of the violin is insane. This song fits together so well, and is absolutely beautiful. I hope you realize how incredible this work of art is. <3
I have no words, you're too kind. it's been a hard week, so seeing this just really brightened my day
I'm so glad!
All strings instruments? A string Quintet? thats interesting and whats the first instrument in the beginning that sets the mood. Very nice arrangement and composition. The choice of string instruments and the structure is very consistent with the style of clothing which indicates to the viewer a certain time period and social standing. I usually hear this style when watching a film or series about Victorian era people of the countryside. This would make a great intro music sequence or main menu music for the image/game. Exceptional work!
the instruments are some flutes, a filtered dulcimer VST, and contrabass pizzicato, and me playing violin live sound. I’m glad you like!!
Beautiful.
This is so beautiful, I could feel the emotion in the music for sure!
I love the violin so much! It reminds me a lot of the theme from Alice Returns :)
ahh!!! If you mean Danny Elfman’s Alice theme, thank you!!! That was one of my favorite soundtracks growing up, he’s the master!
this makes me jealous that I picked saxophone over violin
ommmggg that Violin!!!!!! Wooewwwww!!! Composition is also stellar!! Geez!
Thank you so much!!!!
Lovely melodies here! And that violin is so beautifully recorded! What a great sound! Are you using a microphone or a pickup? Or both? Or something else?
Thank you so much! Using an old Tascam mic I've carried around all these years. I'm still learning about best practices for room studio recording, but I'm glad the sound is ok! I'm running the mic to my interface and into Cuabse with some added plug-ins to help the acoustics a bit.
