This had me laughing! I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I will say that because there's a non-horror option, it's veeeeery easy for some scaredy-cat (me) to just not want to engage with the horror gameplay. I kinda wish I was forced into the horror gameplay as a challenge. Though I suppose that genuinely having nothing go wrong is great for fitting the theme! Overall, while I'm not too much of a horror guy, I thoroughly enjoyed both the funny and spooky tone, and I was definitely spooked by the jumpscare. Essentially, great presentation!

Great work, all. If you haven't already, we'd love it if you could check ours out too!

The mix between Slenderman and the Stanley Parable-esque narrator fit really well! I've not seen many combinations of horror and humor so that's a pretty original twist.

The ambience is great, the narration is great and I'm guessing made by a professional. The sound got me a bit confused, specially when the monster is chasing you (the bell sound is bad at determining distance, and the monster steps make no sound).

The biggest bug I found was that the flashlight beam seems to affect the monster arbitrarily. Perhaps the cone/raycast of the beam is tiny or offset, or maybe the monster's hitbox is smaller than it should be.

The disappearance of the path and the sparse use of notes as alternative guidance are cool mechanics and will probably scare more people than the monster itself.

Good job!

Fun horror game! I got all 3 endings! I thought the gameplay was fun once I realized how to tell that the monster was coming closer. It felt really frantic to try and get to my house without losing all my batteries or getting eaten by the monster. Great work with the voiceover too it adds a lot of charm to the game. Really great job on this!

I had a lot of fun playing this game! Normally, I don’t like playing horror games because I find them similar, repetitive, and lacking interesting mechanics. However, I really liked this one, especially because of the narrator, who adds a funny vibe without breaking the creepy atmosphere. This idea is great and well executed, making me discover a new side of horror games. In this one, I actually wanted to explore to hear all the narrator voice lines.

Nice game game and nice Art by the way

Thanks for the game! Yes, the jam's theme hints at horror...

The controls are good, and I haven't noticed any bugs. The sound is pretty standard, but the visuals on my computer were absolutely disgusting (I know similar graphics in this genre, but in this case, everything just blurred and flashed before my eyes). I think it's mostly because of the low lighting conditions. Still fit with atmosphere!)
Overall, it's a pleasant game. I hope you won't drop it

Game was fun, nothing went wrong in the end, fun game, the narrator also added lots of humor.

Also the narrator kinda lied when he said the path was well lit, those streetlights didn't light anything XD.

Thanks for playing!!

Nice voice inputs! The path seemed a bit too long. Maybe it was intended to test the player's patience? Other than that it was a good game for the jam!

Interesting game. Really well made. Narrator is the highlight - without him atmosphere would suffer. Only one criticism - maybe make flashlight power to last a little longer?
