How does the game fit the theme?
Nothing can go wrong or the panda will die. Also you are immune from enemies and kill them while the panda is rolling, so nothing can go wrong when a panda is rolling around!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The only thing I did not make from scratch is the music.

How many people worked on the game?

Super fun with tight controls which makes it challenging. I loved how I have to use the mechanics differently in each level. It seems like a great game to speedrun.

I recommend adding a jump buffer so that the character jumps when I press space even before landig on the ground by a little. Sometime I press the button a little early which breaks my momentum.

But over all, great game.

Love the panda and the tight controls.  Good Job!

Nice challenging platformer. Controls felt good. I imagine you had a complex state machine. Nicely done.

A bit challenging for my taste, but I understand that's the genre.

Couldn't figure out how to get any of the bamboos except one in the second to last stage. Never played a precision platformer before, but this game made me interested in the genre. Really liked how you designed the levels so that you have to get good at all the mechanics, especially stuff with the roll then jump. Fantastic game!

I really liked the challenge and the DKC vibe in this game, plus I love pandas. :)

Thanks for trying Angry Shepherd on your livestream; the whole family laughed a lot during your stream! And you beat the actual known record of Ategondev!

Sheepy still lives in our hearts even if you blew it with rockets for the TEAM!

Hey Mate ! I saw how you played undead siege (beta) in your twitch stream.I know there a many Bugs so i fixed some Bugs, would love if you give my game a second Chance to Play. Many people wanted a difficult Mode to choose how fast Zombies comes so I did it,and there was also a bug that the Zombies spawn right in to your player so i fixed it.PLS Check it out and let me know if you played it again =D

Movement was polarizing... The dash / roll felt fantastic to string together, but the jump was a bizarre momentum killer. I think having it maintain your velocity instead of instantly setting your position would have made moving while in the air feel a bit better, like how it does with the roll over an edge. The level design was a bit rough, rather punishing if you don't know the layout ahead of time with all the falling objects. Overall, I think you did a great job. The environment / background looks very nice, and the mechanics when aligned with the flow of the level feel wonderful. A bit of polish, and you've got something pretty sweet here.

Perfect mechanics, smooth and wih many options. Panda looked cute and gameplay was fun! Very well made game!

Really enjoyed the game, Its like very speedrunneable, the dash is awesome made and the visuals are well polished. I had trouble when landing from a jump, your faster when you are in the air and it could create discomfort with the landing. Everything else is awesome. Well done!

nice work and cute art

Gameplay is really really solid.  You took the mechanics of this lil panda boy as far as they could go.  The level design managed to be difficult without feeling unfair and the ramp-up was perfect.   I enjoyed the skill expression very much.  I had to dock a point because I don't really feel like it fits the theme very much, but it was a very fun game and it kept me playing for like 20 entire minutes.  Good job with this one!

Classic platformer vibes and play on a certain hedgehog... Good level design and visuals for the jam - impressive and consistent theme.

I do this that although you have an ease into the start of movement, the abruptness of the stopping is somewhat unexpected and jarring. It took me a few mins to get the hang of it.

Great wee Game Jam entry though. Kudos!

Your level design is brutal :) I only managed to get one golden bamboo. While I'm terrible at such games I got to the 4th level (which I think is great!). With every attempt I felt I'm doing better, though :)

For one dev, this is quite an achievement. Great gameplay, graphics and sound effects. Like the rolling and jumping :).

This is a great job! I've played a lot of platformers, I made a platformer too. But this game looks finished: interesting levels with adequate difficulty, graphics, sound. I'll probably play it again. This is what my platformer should have been like, but I didn't have time... For 1 person in a team, this is a very cool result.

Really liked the puzzles for this game, reminds me of Celeste! Visuals and audio go very well together, and the collectable really adds an extra level to the puzzles! I would've liked the controls to be a bit smoother (but then again, I was playing on keyboard, and it might've been smoother with controller). Overall great work!

I love a juiced up platformer, especially ones that feel like celeste on caffeine. Awesome game!

Really loved the movement mechanics! Gave a nice polished platformer feel, The levels were also designed quite well! Very good job!

Just made it trough, loved it.  Not as proud as I was watching you play on stream ^^ Reminded me of the white temple in hollow knight, it's a jam game but the feeling was the same ahahah
Awesome work ;)

I really like the amount of polish in this game. It would be cool if you had some kind of indicator when your dash is depleted.

Also the rolling doesn't continue if the key is pressed down, I'm assuming that's a bug. It also could be improved with some input buffering for the jump.

But overall I love the concept, the animations, the level design, the jump and the mechanics!
