This game is great! I really like the combat system, it's very smooth and I like how it encourages the player to time their hits. The game overall is very polished, my only criticism for it is that failing is a bit too punishing. I definitely see that the difficulty is an integral part of the experience, but I think an easy fix for this would be to make retrying faster. Other than that, I'd love to play a full game with these mechanics, they were very well made! The art is very charming as well and the music really helps with the overall atmosphere. The story was good as well, I really liked the plottwist at the end! Great game overall, good job!

The art style is really nice and it's impressive how polished this feels. Great game :)
Played and rated, really atmospheric and beautiful smooth pixel animations :)
That was amazing! In the end ı figured out everything. Good job man, ı suppose you are a seasoned jammer. I had good time playing your game. Keep up the good work
The moment I saw the walking stick... I knew....
I LOVED this!!! The sprite work is absolutely gorgeous, the SFX and BGM are on point, and everything felt VERY fleshed out. Even added an option to speed up the dialog - which not a lot have!
S tier, seriously good stuff!
It was a very fun game! The art and audio really put it all together and add to the aesthetic and vibe. I especially enjoyed the cutscenes! One thing I will note that some of the hitboxes of the bushes were a bit large, but other than that, it was a great game!
Really nice game! Lovely art and sounds! Its so well put together that is kinda addictive!
Wow, great concept! The visuals were chef's kiss and I loved the plot twist!
The pixel art and plot of the game were very well done. The delay of for movement after swinging could be tweaked but the implementation of extra abilities helps and adds good progression to the game. Great game!
The art in the game is beautiful! The gameplay is also very fun, and I appreciate the option to speed up the dialogue (something I definitely forgot in my own project lol). I liked the story, too - I wonder if I missed some foreshadowing or whether there could have been a slightly larger build up to the end (I did catch one line that related to it). Really awesome work!
Really cute graphics, great animation, it looks really good, the collision on the trees were a little too big, and if you make an area 2d to the projectiles, you can make it collide with the walls and explode if touches a wall, giving a realist effect. Nice game!
The game has a lot of charm with its engaging pixel art and clever twist on a knight's quest. The satisfying sword combos and the overall atmosphere really show potential. With some tweaks to the collision system, checkpoint mechanics, and dialogue presentation, this game could be a much smoother and even more immersive experience. Overall a very great jam entry!
Great game man I loved the story plots and also the arts! Could add a little more sound effects on things but other than that, solid game man congrats<3
Great game and amazing art! I really like the story!
A few notes: I kept dying a lot, and when I did, the screen would go gray and I would have to refresh the page to play again. It would be great if there were checkpoints for each part of the game, so if you die, you just go back to the beginning of that section. Also, it was a bit hard to dodge attacks because it would wait until the very end of my attack before it would let me move. It would be great if you could interrupt the attack animation in order to dodge. Other than that, great job!
This is very well made! The graphics are very nice and stylish. Wish I could do anything close to that! The plot was very well hinted early on in the game, and the ending truly confirms my suspicion. I don't understand why the villager still goes out in the dark like that even though they are well aware that it's dangerous out there in the dark. Are they possessed or something? The gameplay is really nice, and that sword combo is very satisfying to perform. The roll is less powerful, but it's a great addition to the game. Sort of plays like a souls game, and I like that very much. Well done!
For some criticism, I would say please let us use the mouse to progress through the inn dialogues. It felt strange when you are not even able to use space before night three. I thought the game was stuck there or something and got lucky when I was randomly mashing the keyboard. I would also point out that the inn dialogue scene looks a bit messy when there is too much going on and the scene is quite zoomed in. Took me a while to identify the silhouettes and the characters.
Anyway, this is a very great action game in this jam, and you should be proud of it! Well done!
Really great story, it's a too bad we don't have a peaceful ending and a little end screen too. The gameplay is approved by someone who like top down fighting, the evolution of the mechanics is great idea.
To be honest, I think the villager desserve it, why they throw things on me ? Why does the server try to body slam me ? And why does a grandpa tries to stab me ? I regret nothing.
