This game is great! I really like the combat system, it's very smooth and I like how it encourages the player to time their hits. The game overall is very polished, my only criticism for it is that failing is a bit too punishing. I definitely see that the difficulty is an integral part of the experience, but I think an easy fix for this would be to make retrying faster. Other than that, I'd love to play a full game with these mechanics, they were very well made! The art is very charming as well and the music really helps with the overall atmosphere. The story was good as well, I really liked the plottwist at the end! Great game overall, good job!
