Minimalist but effective UI work! I love the mix of narrative events and randomized events, as they feel both thematically/historically plausible. The soundtrack is immersive and pleasant to have running in the background. Not too punishing as far as choices go, and I think that with more content, this could become increasingly challenging and replayable. Great entry, full of potential for a lot more to happen out of this iteration. Thanks for making it!

The music is very calming, which is sometimes in contrast to the words I'm reading. I really enjoyed the game play and look forward to seeing where you go with development of this idea.

There's some nice relaxing music here, I can tell you put a lot of effort into the writing. I think to improve your game you could include some still images with your text, or even moving painting style affects. I did get a bug the first time playing that caused me to have to reset. It didn't show me the text for the next options. Congrats on finishing.
