I think this game has a very unique concept and a lot of potential. Unfortunately, I did run into a few problems while playing.
I think I may have broke something when I pressed call the police during my first attempt, because nothing happened afterward and after I waited awhile, a different NPC got mad and started attacking me. And I didn't even get any options for loans, invests, etc. And then it kind of entered this infinite loop where a thief would try to rob me, I'd call the police, etc.. But when I refreshed the page, it was fine.
Also, when the robber would come in my second attempt, it would work just fine, but then the person I was helping would start getting mad immediately because I didn't help them in time. I assume you have a timer that runs whenever someone comes up to the player. And when that timer runs out, they get upset. In the future, if you decide to better the game, I think it would be best to pause this timer while the robbing event is occurring to be more fair to the player.
With some polishing, I think this game could be great! Good job!
