Nice little game. We've had stuff like this before in the blind gaming community, but this is a good first effort, and I like how you can use any key to play the game. I could really see this expanding in future with more tunes or beats.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yeah I thought rhythm games might be fun for visually impaired players. I am trying to make a better version with proper music!

Would’ve loved to see more, and even a simple score readout so I can try to see how close I am to hitting that perfect timing!!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing!! Yeah that'd be nice! I'll try to add that in the game!

The concept of the game is interesting.

It's promising!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I'll try my best to make it fun and challenging!

I really wanted more! I think I liked the first level the most but it is overall a really fun but short game, and very nice to listen to.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I'll try to make a better version!

Thanks for the opportunity to play your game! I really enjoyed it and it's really good to hear that you want to make a better version

Developer

You're so nice! Thank you once again! I really loved oracle call btw! It was so much fun to play! I might keep coming back to play that game haha

Awww, it’s so short! I want more! I hope you keep working on it and get us some guitar hero stuff in progressively more challenging levels :)

I love music so this is cool.

Developer

Aww thank you so much for playing! I am making the game from scratch again. I hope I can make a more fun and challenging rhythm game this time! I haven't heard of guitar hero but I am trying to make a one button game like rhythm doctor :)

You haven’t heard of guitar hero? Oh my gosh the best musical game ever??

Here are some links. Playing with a guitar: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/gJedL3O0qeo

This video talks and shows a bit more about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xc4YH0nv_90

You could play drums, guitar, etc. The pretend-guitar had the buttons but for example in the Nintendo DS they were just buttons you connected to the DS: https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fm.media-amazon.com%2Fimages%2FI%2F71ZBiB0cFLL.AC_SL1500.jpg&f=1&nofb=1&ipt=374aae30cdb9ebb88a0911ba58d2f3e061cc1d95fea1255bf1cdb7cffc9e65f5&ipo=images

In short: With a few buttons you can make us play drums, guitar, or whatever you want, progressively harder. Yes it’s not the same mechanics - in your game, we are working with memorization and in Guitar hero we are seeing the button we have to press in advance. But we could still rich an fun melodies with your setting.

Developer

Wait that looks so fun to play!! I just got into making games so I don't have the skills right now but it would be fun to make something like this one day! For now, I want to make a one button game because I think it'd be easier for visually-impaired people to follow!

(+1)

That would be cool! What you could do is eventually after a few levels, have the game surprise us, so the copy sound makes the beat sound, but when we copy successfully, it plays a different instrument. So that's where some more rocky stuff could come in.

This is a really cute entry for a days work! Feel free to do updates during the rating period to fix bugs, and hopefully we'll get more fixes after!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I want to make a better version so I have been trying to learn stuff! It would take me time but I hope I'm able to work on this again!

It’s short and sweet. I encountered similar bugs as described in the other comments. Beyond that, I really enjoyed the opportunity to freestyle at the end. As a concept of a drummer myself, the controls here felt a little unresponsive to me. I’d lean into providing more of those little moments like that if I were expanding this. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you for playing and the feedback! I agree, the controls felt a little unresponsive from level 2, I think. I will be working on this game again if I get the time! I want it to be more fun and if possible, I want to add proper songs/beats instead of making them myself haha. Thank you once again!

Liked the music. Liked the idea. The levels pass without really knowing how well or poorly I'm doing (poorly, I was doing poorly). In level 2 the "you cleared the level" voice clip played multiple times overlapping each other. Trippy but also loud and confusing.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Yeah I didn't work on the system where the game tells you how good you did (dw I was bad at it too at first). As for the overlapping voices, I think I know why it happened. I'll work on the game again when I have the time! Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah I wasn’t doing well either in my first try, and I was surprised I went to the second level. In that sense it was too easy.

In the other levels I was doing it at the right tempo, so I didn’t feel this anymore. But the first time I was disappointed that it let me go on instead of making me repeat the level.

It seems that you clear the levels even when you don't hit any key at all, or if you constantly hit keys. Good start for a day's work though!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yeah I didn't add a game over system because it felt like a lot of work haha. I will work on it when I get the time!

This is a really good starting point for a rhythm game. I couldn't tell if the game was suppose to end or if I got a bug, but the level after the tutorial just goes quite and nothing happens, so I am assuming I beat it. I like these type of games in general so an more polished experiences would be pretty cool.

As an fyi, I played initially with my eyes closed and was able to make it to the end of level 1, but opened once nothing seemed to be happening.

Great work for a day!

Developer

Thank you for playing and the feedback! Oh and I fixed the bug! There are supposed to be three levels. Thank you once again! I appreciate it!
