I love the setting and the artstyle you are going for. This feels like one of those early CGI shows from the late 90's that I used to watch (reebot, beast wars, etc.).
The cutscenes are great, and I was pleasently surprised by the voice acting. As others have already pointed out, make them skipable, after the first time we watch them.
Conrol's wise, whenever I have my weapon unsheated, the mouse sensitivity is fine, and I navigated the levels in this way. But when the weapons are sheated, the sensitivity gets very low. And the camera feels floaty. Is very strange. Try to get the same feel we have with the weapon unsheated, when we have it .
I tried the game with a controler too, but the game catches a masive control stick draft. This is not a problem with my controler, as I play many games with it normally, but I have noticed that this does happen with a lot of unity made games. A friend tol me that this is related to the type of controler plugin you use in unity (if that makes sense. I never used unity). He tells me the default is very bad.
I paused the game with the controler on, unpluged it, and switched to mouse and keyeboard, but the game got stuck in the menu. Had to restart it with the controller unpluged.
Navigation wise, I felt lost inside the fortress, but managed to get through and fight the boss. On the second level, the forest, I got completely lost, eventually giving up.
So I think you should add more landmkarks thoughout the levels, to make finding your way feel more natural. Or add a map that we can check.
Overall, great work! Keep it up
