Fun sudoku-like game and the visuals are very cute ✨
Well done 🌈
I really enjoyed the dialogue and opposing personalities, and I wasn't sure what I expected but it was not sudoku haha which ended up being an engaging activity ~ Will come back to play this one again :p
(Also personal note I'd be against the "piece was placed correctly" notification because it could streamline the puzzle too much, but it could use an indication of when a file/column is screwed up to make it more clear :P)
Cute bantering back and forth , the sudoku was a surprise to me but pretty fun! I played through and loved every bit of it!! Awesome work the whole team 👏
The puzzle mechanic was really rewarding once you figured out the rules. The dialog between Ariel and Crowley was also well done and I really liked their story of enemies to friends. Great work!
Nice job! You did an amazing job with the dialogue, and I was quite engaged for a genre I usually don't play much of! I loved that Card Captor Sakura was an inspiration!
This game tricked me into learning how to play sudoku; the investment I had in your characters/narrative helped me persevere through the harder levels lol
Glad to hear you enjoyed our characters! They were really fun to write for. Hope you didn't mind being tricked into learning Sudoku :P
Nice sudoku twist, funny writing and nice illustrations. Excellent!
This is such a cute idea, I love the end of the story! As someone who plays sodoku every day it wasn't really challenging for me, but I enjoyed the story and the visuals. I LOVE THEIR FACES! really cool game!
heheheheeeee shes perfect!
The title screen is a banger, and I was really impressed to see the characters had different expressions that matched the text! The twist on sudoku is also really fun. It might be nice to have some sort of indication that "a piece is placed incorrectly" if you've filled out the puzzle but got something wrong -- I was a bit confused heh. Not a problem if you just play the game correctly though LOL. Great game!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I also appreciate the feedback, I agree an indication that "a piece was placed correctly" could definitely help make what is keeping the puzzle from being solved more clear :)
love the art style and the contrast of two different styles!!! such a fun game as well - its like sudoku?
The game looks amazing, and it's clear you worked hard to stick to the theme, which I think is the most important part. Well done, congrats!
Love this take on sudoku! Very fun and lovely~ The characters remind me of the devilish games
Very cool and cute art style :D
Very cute game—loved the story! I want to have the bird sprite as a pet :)
Best game I've played so far. Your take on a sudoku style game was REALLY good -- it completely removed all the tedium of checking numbers... I could really sense the thought you have put into the game design. Additionally the banter was very very funny.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad to hear you thought our banter was funny, and that you liked our take on Sudoku :)
I enjoyed my time with this one! The clash between their styles is really good, and their constant back and fourth between challenges is cute. Guessing what are the counterpart of each item was really cool too! Consider making this into a full game(without gamejam pressure)!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you liked the bit of guessing the item counterparts, that was something we thought would fit the theme well and would love to explore in this sort of puzzle game in the future.
The characters are so cute and I love the sounds it makes when I put the items on the shelves :3 Great job to the team!
Thank you so much, glad to hear you liked it! :D
I'm a sucker for sudoku, and I really loved the narrative elements! The sprites are especially fun. Very clean, and I love how emotive you drew their expressions :)
Glad to hear you enjoyed it & liked how expressive our characters were! It was really fun trying to balance the pacing of the narrative with the sudoku puzzles.
The sprites are so pretty! This game was very fun to play.
This was a fun one. I felt driven to keep playing because I wanted to see the story to the end. The art is great too.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad to hear you enjoyed the story & art :)
