A fun and unique concept for a puzzle game!
I really liked how the puzzles were designed. They weren’t too difficult, but keeping your patience was the real challenge—and that was well integrated into the gameplay. I often found myself pressing too quickly and too eagerly, but once I calmed down, I managed to complete the levels.
The controls worked well, and while the visuals were very simple, they suited for the concept. The calm music fit the mood, though it did get a bit repetitive after a while. A good number of levels too—I finished them all! A few extra levels and some graphical polish would be great for a potential update. Maybe also add some variety with other colors or a powerup that loops back or faster and slower. Just some ideas.
The theme was incorporated—check!
A solid jam entry. Keep it up in your future games! 🧩🎮✨
The core of the game is really solid, and the gameplay is fun! But other aspects could be improved quite a bit. like adding more color, a background, and maybe some visual effects to give feedback to the player.
I also thought about adding some fast-paced levels with a timer, where each click makes everything move faster, maybe it would be fun.
Overall, it was a simple and fun experience with a touch of innovation. Great work
Thank you! I totally agree on the visuals, they were a bit rushed and could be improved in many ways, same for the sound. Your idea is cool, although I'm not sure if it fits the premise. Maybe I'll experiment with it at some point.
Very simple game, I like the concept. Visually I wish the energy moving had some sort of an animation, but otherwise I think it's well done. :)
That's a great idea! The visuals were a bit rushed and I don't do a lot of 2D, but I might revisit this game in the future.
just a clicking game
This was a fun simple game I have never experienced before. I like how you thought of a simple puzzle game that incorporates timing and patience. Was able to make it to the end with no issues. Well done.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Very nice puzzle game ! love the simple yet a bit nerve racking gameplay, I do wish there was more sound effects especially when clicking the boxes. It was still a really enjoyable game
Thank you! That was actually the first time I incorporated a proper sound system in a game😅, probably should have added a few more sounds.
Very nice little game. It's simple and fun, I especially appreciate that because every time I make a jam game, it's way too ambitious and it never ends up coming out the way I want, and I really want to learn to make simple elegant ideas instead. Very good job!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I also usually fall for this trap but this time I started late, so I had to settle on the simplest idea I could think of. I guess that's the key 😅
Nice game. It’s all about timing.
Wow! At first, I thought this was going to be an easy game, but it ended up being a pretty cool strategy game. You are very creative!
Thank you so much! I was worried it was a little too simple😅
Neat little game! It's pretty fun going through the levels, surprisingly enjoyable despite its simplicity. The main area of focus that I think could be improved is the graphics, and I think adding a background and a little more color variety could bring out the game's uniqueness and improve the player experience more. Also, maybe a longer music loop would be nice as well. Anyway, I enjoyed playing this, great job!
Thank you! And you're aboslutely right about the art. I don't do much 2D and the music is a little track I made a while ago that I didn't find the time to improve.
The theme fits well with your game, and you’ve created a simple yet nice little game mechanic! However, I got stuck on the level with the blue square - no matter what I tried, the lights never seemed to be on the same square. I thought I first need to click the blue one to turn it yellow and wait for it to match with the second yellow one?Maybe I’m just missing something, but I couldn’t figure it out! :D
Thank you! Nice to hear it was a challenge. If you're referring to the first level with a blue light, the lights should meet after a couple of lapses without touching them. You might have noticed that if you click of the blue light it stops for one cycle. If you did wait however that must be a bug I've missed
Yes, I waited looong time, but it never touched :D
I'm having the same issue, and I did wait for a minute or so multiple times. I usually clicked about one down from the far right side of the loop to "turn off" the blue light.
I like the concept of the game! So simple, yet so fun.
You done much with just a few squares. Cool little puzzler but you got me at the patience part. I would make it a bit more engaging by having the player do a bit more. There is definitely a seed for cool puzzler for on a phone you can play when you are waiting anyway .. its just not a game for me
Thank you so much for the nice words! I agree that it's a little nerve-wracking. Perhaps with more time I would have come up with levels and mechanics that actually require planning ahead so you wouldn't feel like you're just waiting around. I'll definitely revisit this game at some point.
