Heh! Definitely hearing some Shostakovich inspiration in this.
This is nicely done! :)

Description
My participation, at MEDIUM Mode, in the Impressions Composing Jam: OST JAM #2 entitled “The Course of the Empire”.
I composed 5 works seeking to find meaning and common themes between them, so I tried a mini form of “hard mode” without actually choosing it 😅
Let me know what you think of it and thanks to those who will listen :)

One of those most film score-y submissions I've heard! The emotions you convey are very precise; you have a great ear for melodic tone. Instruments are beautifully programmed as well!
Excellent compositions. Sound like you know how each instrument is used especially woodwinds, and just overall knowledge of how to blend different sounds. Dynamics is are also done well which is not common to hear. I enjoyed listening to it all throughout, well done
I loved it !
You have a real science of orchestration, very beautiful colors and choices ! Composition is also well put together, nice ideas and wonderfully executed.
I think my favorite is The Arcadian State, the theme is so full of hope, and orchestration is very subtle !
That was a very great journey !
Bravo l'ami ! :D
Hey there!
Flawless execution in my opinion! I actually wanna go over some stuff with you regarding the mix, amazing job.
Top notch submission, your take on Desolation, well, was unexpected, I personally felt it was too full for the painting, but still liked it a lot, so who cares.
Also, I think you should had gone on the hard mode, but well, maybe next time ;)
Take care :3
