What inspired your game?
The struggle of picking a restaurant! We wanted to make cute, strange little animal characters with distinct personalities, who seem too different to be together but for whom the perfect date spot can be found. Gameplay-wise we were also inspired by Home Safety Hotline, using a computer to sift through information and solve cases.
How did you incorporate the 'girly' theme into your game?
Of course it's extremely pink, but it's also a little bit weird and it's about spreading love and understanding!

This game really gives the feeling of being a match maker in the 2000s, being so bored when there is no work that they have to play to a mini game on their computer to waste time 😂
The designs are simple but great, the gameplay is intuitive and the game itself is fun.

First this is a fantastic service for those folks that want to go out somewhere and can never decide on where or what to do, the struggle is very much real xD
Secondly I really enjoyed the desktop PC gameplay elements! Very clean presentation. I especially enjoyed that you incorporated a minigame on top of it. With more variety in cases/guests and a bit of RNG it would have great replayability.

Loved the animal pairings, they were really fun, animal portraits. I thought the presentation was the highlight, the general UI/aesthetic is really internally consistent, and we especially appreciated the map. One critique was the audio choice was a bit unfavorable for us.
Anyway, all around, really great game!

How difficult was it to implement the real-time clock in the toolbar? I thought that was neat!

The clock was very easy, the game just asks the OS for the current time every frame (which is very inefficient, but hey, it's a small game) and puts it into a label. Godot is nice :D

What a cute concept!! The visuals were great, absolutely loved the nod to Windows XP!! The character matches were very charming and it was SO fun having pong as a minigame while you wait for new matches!

This is such well done game! I cannot express that enough. The random game of breakout is a hilarious addition, and the complete interactability of the "in game desktop UI" makes it very immersive. The low "buuuuzzzzzz" of an old computer is also such a throwback. Haven't heard that in a bit. I'm a huge fan of the core game mechanic, which actually requires us to integrate information across the map and the personalities.

What a fun game! The little animals are lovely. It felt like I was experiencing a new career, and taking a break from work. I've managed to get four couples to date! Hopefully there will be more levels (haven't played enough yet, really want to keep playing)

I love this! Feels like I'm really at a computer!... It is INSANELY BEAUTIFUL! The background, the characters! The couples are charming and the resaurant reviews funny. It feel real. Cool little world. My favorite game so far!!! Cool game inside the game perfect everything is perfect. You had me at the loading screen. Music would have been cool, but the lack of it fits the "realism".
