The art is amazing! The animations, sounds everything is nice and crispy:
Fun: It was fun but also really hard, I kinda felt I could only play with fletcher and as soon as he dies the run felt kinda over. I couldnt get passed level 1 (i did look at evengys gameplay to see what else you made) probably a skill issue but I tried my best hahaha. Mostly the enemies respawning felt a bit unfair. Other then that if it was balanced a bit more I wouldve 100% played it longer cus I did really wanne see the end
core elements: I did not see but I guess the chests would hold your characters if they died at the end? I did miss some new characters. It was a great take tho making it a semi auto scroller worsk perfectly with this genre and was a very clever thing to do, good job!
Polished: I did not encounter any bugs or missed something so no real remarks on this. Also the generated voice made me laugh lol
Audio: juicy
Ui: I do feel like the character select couldve used a bit more love but the main menu looked great!
Really fun idea and take on the recreate!
