Sorry. But I don't know how to play it. I just click upgrade on castle and suddenly it end. I retried and clicked the fullscreen toggle at the center top. It prompt something then I clicked launch and boom there were boxes and enemies start spawning.

Still don't know what to do. I can't buy any tower, nothing happens when I click the boxes. Very nice art in the title page though.

Thanks for sharing, it's a fun tower defense idea. It's a smart idea to use the elements theme since people automatically understand what elements are strong against others. To avoid repeating what the other commenters said I will report what was frustrating for me, which was that clicking a UI element would else trigger the any UI elements underneath -- not sure if everyone had that issue. Also, I didn't see much novel connection to the theme. Good job!

You can tell it's a tower defense game at first glance but it needs instructions on the game mechanics. Interesting plot. Main menu audio was good music so I was wondering why it wasn't used during the gameplay. Visuals need polishing, the fonts were too small. The numbers increased too much and fast to be readable. I could not finish the game because UI got stuck. Using natural elements was intuitive for the players to know how to defeat enemies and where to place towers. Great game!

Thanks for your Honest feedback...

Actually the main audio i thought to put in game was ambient noise where birds and animals sounds occur but we didnt had time and just had put the air blowing sound which i agree wasnt that good...

I love tower defense, I've been playing it a bit, the game is nice but I found a lot of problems in the gameplay, good work anyway

A bit of explanation or a tutorial would have been helpful, and there was quite a lot of clicking involved! 馃槄
Eventually, I managed to buy some towers and items and take down enemies, so I got the hang of it.

The pixel art and audio were ok. As for the theme... I think it was there slightly indeed....

The UI felt a bit cluttered, at least in my browser. I was able to find everything eventually, but it didn鈥檛 look very polished.

It鈥檚 clear that a lot of effort went into this game, but I think a future update could guide the player a bit more to improve accessibility and some extra love in the UI.

Keep going and keep improving—there鈥檚 definitely potential here! 馃挭

Thanks for your Honest feedback and Immense Support...

We didnt had time to make a tutorial because we had actually thought to make this game multiplayer but as multiplayer got stucked and we didnt had time so we just continued to submit it..

I agree on UI problems i think should look onto the UI things too as UI riggs me every time...

Not really sure what i had to do, i think it was broken for me. I clicked a few time on the castle, bought an artificact, forged it and won ? Al this in like a minute.

If i read the rest of the comments they had other experience though.  Godot ui is hard (or at least i think so)  but when doing a jam its always wise to make that your first point of action, to make sure your game scales good on different sizes because this was really hard to play and i guess because the screen size was weird i could click places i should not.

Thanks for your Honest feedback...

Actually the UI expert of our team were away due to some reason causing the ui to be doomed.. and also handling UI for different screen sizes just makes me go crazy..

The main purpose of the game was to buy 5 artifacts(mask pieces) to win...

I had the opposite experience of the rest of the reviews. At first I was scared to break my mouse for trying to get the first upgrade by clicking, but then I found out that I could set up a little tower that brought me a lot of "shards". Then I spamed towers untill I got tons of shards, upgraded the mask a couple of times, and decided to upgrade one of the towers to max level. Then the UI stop responding and got stuck.

This is what I achieved!

I think the game needs to be polished in this aspects: UI, background sound (as it is an"active" iddle game), and, for me the most imporant part, progresive stat scaling. The second I learnt how to set up towers, no element could hit me ever again.

I may suggest something like locked areas that you need to unlock by paying shards, branched  power-ups instead of linear ones, or the need to have a minimum number of towers to unlock a new max level for the artifacts. Maybe you could also pay to reorganize element areas in the field.

But I must admit something: not much tower defense games give you the oportunity to set up such a big number of turrets, and I enjoyed that. It is a good sensation to fill (almost) all nodes  in the screen.

If you ever decide to continue this project, I would be glad to play it again!

Thank you for the Honest feedback it was the thing that we thought of many mechanics instead of making simple game therefore we didn't have time to put a tutorial and fix bugs...

And i am not correcting you but our mechanic was that placing towers mine resources for u....

The page size is a bit confusing - I had to play in fullscreen, but the game menu sits in the corner? The combination of text styles feels off, and the menu is hard to read.

Just clicking resources and enemies doesn鈥檛 really fit the theme well, and I don鈥檛 quite understand why resources are gathered when a tower for defense is placed there. It would make more sense if there were different tower types - some for defense and others specifically for resource gathering.

The UI needs a lot of polish, as you can click 'through' elements when a menu is open, which might be an issue with the web version. However, this completely broke it and I was not able to update the main tower any further...

The game play feels a bit repetitive (of course, it is a loop), and something seems to be missing. Destroying enemies for additional resources could add more depth. Also, when upgrading a tower, I somehow ended up with negative resources at one point? Despite these issues, the game has a lot of potential, and I hope you continue developing it!
