About the track
I considered what kind of instruments would fit in a forest and their tempo. The silence and the omnipresence of everything at the same time. Water, birds, little animals and a thousand other things that compromises the environment and the heart of a forest.

Nice track! I think the instrumentation and the airy timbres fit the theme really well. I am totally getting a chill vibe in a forest!

I like the ambient feel. I feel like I can out under the trees

The gentle pads and the soft chord progression give a gentle, majestic, swaying feeling to your piece. The strings adding chord extensions help enhance the mystical aspect of the forest. The way you add higher register instruments and drop the low register instruments toward the end makes me imagine that I am climbing a tree to be able to see over the canopy and I reach the top right at the end to see the beautiful forest expanse. I agree that the melody you introduce at 1:11 is very beautiful - my favorite part of this piece - and I wanted to hear more of it! Great work and thank you for sharing!

The instrument choices make me visualize an early morning walk near a river. The foley in background is a good touch.

The mix needs some tidying up because the instruments blend together, especially in the lower frequencies.

I agree with BodoTheSerf that a wind melody would elevate the piece. Overall, this song flows with gravitas!

I think this piece captures the forest theme really well! The tempo and overall 'weight' of the music felt spot on. I think one thing you could potentially try is varying the texture of the music a bit, the rhythms and melodic lines felt a bit too same-y towards the latter half of the piece. Maybe you could try things like sprinkling in little, faster melodies on instruments like the flute or oboe, kind of mimicking bird calls and such. You kind of do it in places like around 1:08, and it sounds great. I think you could do more of it, and bring those melodies a bit more to the front of the mix to make your music even more interesting and engaging for listeners. Great job though, this piece is already fantastic as a forest level BGM!
