Hey, solid little game here! Everything seemed to work well and I didn't encounter anything that felt buggy. I thought your main mechanic of unlocking movement keys was an interesting and unique idea, and your level design made good use of that mechanic. I did notice that in one place (corridor with platforms moving up and down, spikes along the top), it felt like the only way to pass the obstacle was to purposely clip through the platform colliders, which felt a bit bad/unintentional. I'm guessing I probably just didn't figure out how to time it as intended. The only other suggestion I'd have is that while your background textures look cool, in places like the title screen ("Unlock & Key" title text) and the controls menu, the text was really tough to read against the busy textures. Putting a UI panel that is a solid colour or is semi-transparent behind the text could be an easy fix here. Otherwise, I had fun and found all three keys, and successfully escaped! Nice work on this!

Very original mechanics, that was fun to play, great job.

I have nothing to complain about it, really the level design, the difficulty progression, the challenges everything it’s great.

I’ll post a review for this game on my YouTube channel, probably tomorrow.

Super fun mechanic with the controls, tight level design and clever goals, overall great execution!

The game feels great, is challenging enough to have players enjoy collecting all the keys. Controls aren't perfect, but they're pretty much what the player would need for this type of level design.

I did get tired of the ost after a while, and I also would have preferred more sfx. But what's there is fully functional and works perfectly.

A bit more content would have been nice, but that's about it, very few negatives in general, good job!

Very short and sweet although personally i would have liked if it was a lot longer, I love the concept and the mechanics!

However this game is still missing a ton of polish, movement could use some tweaks, same with jump

Artstyle is leaving a lot to be desired personally as well! Music was alright! It feels like a 24/48 hour game jam entry rather than a month long gamejam entry! Very interesting concept just wish there was a lot more time spent working on it!

A great premise (and wordplay) that manages to stick the landing despite stiff, floaty controls and overly sensitive hitboxes. I’m with everyone else on the Flash game vibes (in a good way).

This was awesome! Short and sweet, really good minimal design with fun puzzles! (I got all 3 keys) At first I was skeptical about only going left, but the obstacles were really cleverly set up. Having the player square change colors was nice too. This game is kind of like the perfect slider: it captures all the essence of a full hamburger but you don't always want to eat a whole hamburger. Great job!

Not a particularly ambitious game, but it doesn't really need to be. A simple platformer with Metroidvania elements (doesn't feel quite full on Metroidvania to me, but that's also okay), with some nice music choices and simple but colorful visuals that fit the vibe, well executed platforming overall (albeit with slightly janky moving platforms, but they get the job done as well as the game's level design needs it)... honestly, this game has some pretty good level design.

Wish the ending was a bit more satisfying, but you made an actually complete game that feels pretty cohesive and that really counts for something. This reminds me of Flash games I played growing up, and I mean that in a good way, because I played some really, really good ones.

Solid, smooth and complete. Excellent entry!
