This is a really great forest theme as it captures the beautiful and wondrous parts of a forest, but also the mysterious and ominous parts. Your marching percussion makes me think that I am on an expedition traveling through the forest in your story. I really love the soft swells of the strings throughout - this compositional technique feels the most “forest-y” to me. I love that you set up a harmonic pattern, but then keep breaking it - that is where the mystery and ominous feeling comes from mostly I think. The bass growls and the field recording ambience also help immerse me in your jungle and makes me imagine being surrounded by wildlife. Great work and thank you for sharing!
