Who knew that making wigs could be this fun? I really enjoyed it. I would have loved a tutorial or a master of wigs to show me all the techniques before jumping into the competition. Awesome work nonetheless—congrats!

I watched someone play it and seemed fun time, but the controls didn't work well for me. Perhaps because my resolution is 1280x720?

Either way, it's a cool game, thanks for the submission!

Developer

Oh, that’s unfortunate. :( The game resolution is 1280x720, so I’m not sure what could be causing the issue.

I tried again and in full screen it works just fine. Window mode though, the selection areas get messed up. Since my resolution is 1280x720, just like the game, the browser's window components reduces it even further

To reproduce it try running the game and reducing the window size. To fix it I think you have to set up the window display in the project settings. Perhaps mark Resizable, and change Aspect to Keep and Mode to canvas_items

felt like I was barber for a moment.

It was enjoyable,  interesting theme interpretation. It's a bit confusing at the beginning without the tutorial, but I figured it out pretty quickly. The only thing I didn't like was the constant selection of tools, I think a separate buttons for paints and cutting a wig immediately by clicking on it would have been great.  Ah, and the restart button doesn't reset the points so I refreshed the page instead.

Developer

I totally missed the restart issue! Thanks for playing and for the feedback.

Super fun! I had no idea I'd enjoy a game about making wigs so much. I like the strategy of trying to keep the wig growing at all times so you can maximize your score, that coupled with having to dye it different colors really kept things interesting. I think the addition of the leaderboard was great, I had to go back and play again when I saw how close to the top I was. I'm afraid to look at it again and see my score beaten so I will be content with always thinking I have the top score lol. Great work!

Really interesting take on the theme! I liked the sound effects and overall design, but was confused how to play. I think this would really benefit from a tutorial/explanation when you start

Really fun! Thanks for this game :) Loved the vibes. Great job

The most original theme interpretation I've seen so far! Great idea.

unfortunately  I got an error, in the Browser:

Ha, top of the leaderboard! I'm sure this will never change.

Anyway, a few notes:

  • Getting thrown right into it was a bit disorienting the first time. Would have appreciated a tutorial, or at least a chance to get used to the UI before the clock starts.
  • The One-handed wild card is working against you a bit here, I feel. Having to do all that clicking to switch tools (as opposed to keyboard shortcuts) feels very clumsy... but I suppose it'd be a bit too quick otherwise?
  • I think the orders come in a bit too fast.

Notes aside, its a fun game and a pretty original concept!

Thank you so much for playing and the feedback!

Original one! Enjoyed it)) Would be slightly easier if colors was separate buttons.

Great idea and a very fun game! I'll probably come back to this one to check on my ranking.

Really enjoyed this. Once I got a hang of the dye-ing / cutting mechanic for lengths and bleaching, I got in a grove. Looks and sounds great too
