I also like to go and find an image for inspiration when I start composing! The mark of a true visual media composer is having an idea for a theme, but fleshing something out that accompanies other senses, particularly visual, is what we are best at! After looking at your inspiration image, I had a sense that your forest would sound different than the green “birds in the trees” sound that many other submissions went with. Rather I was ready for the grimy sound of a toxic forest! I think your choice of the electronic sound with the reliance on the kick and other low percussion with long low register reverb do a good job of conveying that sticky and acidic vibe. I really appreciate the creativity and am giving full stars on emotional and atmospheric impact because of the uniqueness and your commitment to, and delivery of, your interpretation of the theme.
