Very nice and peaceful game. I enjoyed playing this, but in the beginning I didn't have even time for meditating as I was struggling for survival :D But I've managed to get enlightened in the end ;)

I love this! I love all these seasonal changes it's really a good interpretation of the theme. Well done 😊
Congrats on getting the game ready for the jam!
I'm currently working on a survival sim for another game jam so it was a privilege to check this out and see what you came up with.
I really love the game's user interface. Everything you need to know is on there at a glance so you can assess and plan what your next action is. The cyclic theme works well and is intrinsic to these survival type games so that handled itself rather nicely.
All said this is a very impressive and polished game made all the more so by the fact that you had to get it done very quickly due to the game jam's limited time frame. Thanks for making and sharing!
I really liked this game! I have a fondness for "survival" games with resource management and especially farming, so I was immediately drawn to your entry. The presentation is also really nice, the sounds and music complement the game well and the graphics are charming and perfectly suited to the game -- and I LOVE the cyclical wheel of the seasons!
I found the game quite hard in the beginning, especially managing temperature -- I really wished that eating by the fire in the winter raised your temperature, or at least stopped it from falling. But once I managed to upgrade my house the game got easier. I liked the meditation system and the buffs you got, although I wish it took seasons into account as I often got the green thumb buff right in the start of winter which felt disappointing. The buffs felt a little imbalanced to me, some were really strong (like the temperature one) and others were not very exciting (like the fishing one). I was also a little disappointed when I upgraded the farm and saw that it made more plots as I found 2 plots to be more than enough for the whole game. I was hoping the farm upgrade would make farming quicker, and I soon stopped planting more than 2 plots of crops as the farming just took too long and I had an abundance of food.
The number one thing I would want added to the game though is a year counter! I would love to see how many years it took me to reach enlightenment so that I could compare with others or try to improve :) My other suggestion would be some sort of debuff for not eating a varied diet -- my poor monk ate nothing but carrots for 90% of the game which seems like a shame when there were so many food sources. Maybe there is a buff for eating varied meals but it didn't seem worth the time investment to find out. Overall I really like this game and am impressed by how much polish you managed to give it in just a week.
Thank you for detailed rewiew. It is awesome feedback!
I agree that the ballance needs much more tuning, I wished to have some time for it at the end, but last day of the jam was constant crunch and I was glad that I was able to submit what I did.
Same excuse applies for some missing debufs (believe it or not - the diet variety was planned from the start, but it was one of those "nice to have" things I just haven't enough time for), I also planned things like aging (you would become more "fragile" with passing years) or skill leveling, but again - I had big eyes. :-)
Btw: upgraded farm not only increases number of fields, but the speed of working on it is also increased slightly (or at least it should be - I am had to admit I have discovered some small bugs here and there).
There is also few hidden buffs (for example when you fish during rain, it is faster).
Once again - thank you so much for your feedback and I am glad you liked the game!
I love everything about this! The art style, the music, everything! Great Game!
