Pretty cute game! Nice day/night resource management style. Could use a little more but it's a neat little package.

Thank you!

I like the consistency in the art style, self made assets have a lot more personality than getting random assets from here and there. I also appreciate that there was a story included.

As others pointed out, the lack of audio is something that is quite obvious but of course it can be hard to make time for it in a game jam.

Small technical problem: if you zoom in on the webpage you can see outside the intended play area. Should be an easy fix for next time! Also since you didn't have a downloadable game the "Quit" button is redundant. (since on a browser it just freezes the game.)

I found the use of the "special object" creative, it was actually a core part of the gameplay!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

I actually disabled full screen because you could see outside the intended area. I'm still new to game dev so I don't know how to fix that on godot yet..

I just added the quit button while I was making it, I didn't know what I would export it onto...

Thanks again, you were really helpful!

I think in Godot it's:

"Project Settings --> Display --> Window --> Stretch --> Mode.

The mode should be viewport or canvas items.

And yeah I only noticed the quit button since I had that in my Godot game as well.

This actually works as well!! Thank you so much! This will save my future games :D

Unique concept. It could be better if it has some sound effects :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I wish that I could've done sound but I just didn't have any more time :(

Love the story aspect too it. Really would have loved some sound effects and music though.

Developer

Thanks! I really wanted to add sound but I ran out of time :(

Great job! You are really good with the animations, I loved the walking animation and the falling tree. Next step is adding some audio :)

Also, love the home made aesthetic visually!
