I love the aesthetic, It reminds me of "Yume Nikki" and "LISA: The First"

I wish it was a little easier, I felt like I had very little time to try out anything or appreciate the art. It could work much better as an ending to a sort of artsy game where you already know which place leads to where. (like you as the developer do of course. Gotta remember the player doesn't know)

Also sometimes I'm pretty sure I got a bug where I couldn't place a door anywhere. Even in spots I before could.

If it wasn't time based the door mechanic would work better. More similar to "Yume Nikki" / "LISA: The First", which are more of an exploratory "experience" than a game.  I think if it's time based there could be some more hints on where doors can be placed.

Music fits the atmosphere and vibe pretty good.

I really enjoyed the game still, the doors actually lead to new differently drawn places.  Well done on the "special object" part especially and the awesome art!

Not bad, I love the music of the game, but I don't know what's the objective of the game >_<

Developer

Yeah, I realize now that I should've put in more direction on what to do within the game. It's basically a maze where you're trying to find the brain.

The visuals crept me out (in a good, visual coherent way), which fits the dark narrative, but I couldn't quite figure out what I should do apart from randomly placing the doors and picking up the time.

Developer

It's basically a big maze with the doors letting you enter different rooms until you can find the brain. Thank you I just sorta slammed out a bunch of art in a frenzy for most the the stuff in this game. The weird cutout static art pieces were scans of old paintings I've done.

The visuals are wildd. I really enjoyed it, although I didn't figure out what to do. Just kinda ran around trying to keep my time up for as long as possible. Nice job!

Absolutely love the visual style of this game. Very gritty!! Sometimes it was a bit unclear where I should go next but not a major issue at all. This is certainly a unique game too, well done, a solid entry. The visuals kind of remind me of Scorn and I don't know why, but I like it!

Neat game, love the visuals. I found it a little hard to understand where to go and when I could drop doors or when it was out of range.

Amazing visuals, I would love to make a game with similar vibe sometime! Inspiring.

Absolutely awesome concept, And one of the most unique games I've played so far!

Goods

It's visual style is so weird and strange, It's kinda gross in a good way... It's so distorted and warped, It really adds to the theme of the game. You could definitely see it as someone's mind. While the gameplay is so simple, Figuring it out is a fun challenge and the game is very fun because of it! Definitely one of the best.

Improves

As for feedback, I guess the time is a bit short? I don't actually have many suggested improvements!

I'll give this game a 9/10 overall
Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely going to work on my world/level design skills, it's such a challenge to try and make what is essentially a big weird maze.

It was a real challenge haha, the time runs out so quick! I want to know more about the story about this game, why am I in someone's consciousness?

Developer

Honestly I came up with the concept quickly and went with it because my art style is very dreamy/surreal. I think the mind assassin idea could be cool for a more fleshed out setting.

I think the idea is very cool, finding the right part of the brain / the correct emotion or memory to tamper with. Your style definitely fits your concept :)

It's an interesting concept, but is a little confusing and visually does not make too much sense. I do like the concept of grabbing clocks to give you more time in order to find the brain within the same map.

Developer

I didn't plan out my world design/color usage well enough nor did I do a good job of communicating what you needed to do. I love this tiny jams cause they really expose your weak points in game making.
