Interesting mix of textures here! The opening track definitely feels like it accomplishes what it sets out to do; fits well as a theme and an introductory sequence. Nice piano trills and supporting voices. The second track has some fascinating textures and weaving melodies. I like the use of pizzicato mirroring the piano line to emphasize different melodies - I think I can hear some mallet instrument also following suit here? Very immersive piece!
Finally, the last section feels quite up-beat in comparison. Fast rhythm lines on the hihats and some really nice mallet arpeggios. Choice of instrumentation and voicing here is really neat - some types of sounds I don't think I would've ever thought to use, but they come in clutch and really ground the piece. This reminds me of something I might hear on the PS1 back in the day.
