Theme

Freedom

How does it fit the theme?
In [Middle Of Nowhere] in fantasy world, you open to see rocks and a small pink hair childish kid wield a sword curious about you

"Hey, is that Master woke up yet?"

"Give them time! I'm sure they will wake up soon!"

"Yeah right..."

"That device on your arm is important, give us some commands! We fight for you!"

"There will be others join us! Lead us to freedom!"

"We... want to go back home"

"Oh yeah... When in a fight, uh you can only bring 3 people party..."

...

"We don't have magic users... but we have a lot of firepower! I'm sure it will be handy!"

"Sir Knight will be our tank, of course!"

"Where is he, you asked?"

"He's behind the rock, ya dummy"

"Sup" - The heavy armor knight salute to you

"Oh, there's also a crystal dragon above you too..."

"Be careful of her claws, we don't have much food by the way"

She looks at the group as if food

...

What an optimistic group you admitted

They are really going to get you killed first, aren't they?

very good collection of tracks with distinct instrumental palettes and progressions! the progressive feel of "Road To Freedom" and the chiptune-esque choices in "Follow The Leader" were my favorite. :~)

i do agree with some previously mentioned points re: the steadiness and harmonic content, but in general these were lovely to vibe to!

I really dig the ambient part at the end of the first track

it was 15min max ahah ! That's a generous one :)
I like how the rhythm makes it very entertaining and keeps it interesting even with tracks that long. Synths are globally great too.
I'm not always convinced by the guitar in the first one which seem to play in a different tone than the rest and a bit randomly, and a few instrument associations sound a tiny bit dissonant sometimes. But the overall atmospheres and melodies are very bright and dancy, emotionally complex too. I can feel the freedom. I also like how the second one gets messy at the end ahah. I was never bored ! Good job !

Nice work. Just need to work on how the melody interacts with the chords! Make sure you repeat melodic ideas as well, it will help things feel more cohesive.

That's a lot of minutes! I like the beat and the instrumentation everything's mixed pretty well. You guys do a good job of mixing it up enough to keep it interesting throughout. Personally my attention span's been shot from internet algorithms optimizing dopamine and all that, so it did feel at times like this was a director's cut of a movie. There's a lot of cool stuff here and it's awesome seeing all the ideas on how the story progresses, but at some point it could be a good idea to see what all the best parts are and cut some of the other parts out to get a really great consolidated experience that people can latch on to. Again, my attention span is nonexistant and this is entirely my personal preference so take that with a large grain of salt, really solid mixes and arrangements overall!

Very cool ideas and orchestration, just gotta work on your study of harmony. Super cool stuff I really like the sounds you used throughout Good work :)

Oh wow that is a lot of content and the mix sounds really neat too ! I really like the simple groove it gets to you, good job :)

Hot damn, that's a lot of minutes! Some cool concepts in here, and I always give kudos to those that manage to get some live instruments recorded.

For Road to Freedom - digging the orchestral elements here - nice use of various articulations to keep it interesting and bolster the guitar lines. Percussion does its job of holding down the rhythm.

As for Follow the Leader - I think this is my favorite of the two tracks. Some nice piano work in here, and the synth patches are really pleasant to listen to. Nice variety as well to keep things interesting and in motion. Drums in this feel a bit livelier and really drive the track as a whole a little harder.

Good work!

I liked the energy of this submission!

I think in general the melody writing a be cleaned up a little. There are occasional non-harmonic notes which aren't approached or resolved in a satisfying way, so they feel very out of place. Cleaning them up would bring these tracks to the next level.

I really enjoy the punchy kick in Follow the Leader, as well as the piano chords. The percussion that's added eventually is really well made too. The section which I can only describe as the psychedelic section was surprising, but I like it. Road to Freedom also has some really nice punchy kick, but additionally the percussion here is nice too. They addition of the synths were nice too. The strings tho omg it was a really nice addition to this song. I can definitely see this in an rpg. I have to say though it is quite long, but considering its meant for rpg music, I don't exactly mind too much. Really nice stuff. I enjoyed listening to all of it !!

While they sound very nice, they are simply too long!

The first track has the same chords repeated over and over again which would be fine if the fat was trimmed a little. Combine some sections and even though it might hurt, cutting some sections would also help.

It really wouldn't be as big a deal but its the fact the percussion and chords are just recycled for basically 11 minutes straight. if there were more varied percussion or chord progressions, it wouldn't feel as repetitive as it is.

The same sentiment applies to the second track but to a lesser degree as I feel it has more unique sections and I also just prefer the instruments used in that one more. Though the part with the constant riser is a little too much that it's distracting.
