Description
It's sort of a Punk Rock / EDM Fusion. I was going for a sort of parkour game where you're fighting for your freedom against a futuristic regime. I suppose the track could be a good fit for a chase sequence.
I made the track mainly by noodling around on my guitar and MicroFreak, then bringing it all into Ableton!

Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The image in combination with Freedom made me think of a Mirror's Edge type scenario. Rebels fighting against some regime in a brutalist concrete jungle. I tried to capture that vibe, you tell me if I succeeded! :)

Allright... The beginning of this track sounds like Rock ’n’ Roll N****r by Marilyn Manson >:)
Oh yeah, I REALLY like this combination... of everything! Drums, guitars, BASS and of course synths! (especially bitcrush synths with some fuzz effect, heh)
Among the downsides - the high-end synth sometimes hit my ears...
Otherwise - good job!
P.S. RawrAs soon as I read the title of your submission I had the sneaking suspicion this was gonna be a metal banger. This sounds like it'd honestly fit nicely in a "The World Ends With You" soundtrack. Really enjoyable listen, well done!

I'm not actually very good at guitar so it took a while to get a decent take, I'm glad it seems to have been worth it :)
The drums cut through the mix and the guitars are powerful which is what I like to see! I think the background synth in the beginning is a bit too resonant and piercing in the frequencies, but otherwise, it's a solid number!

I love how we both had a similar interpretation of the prompts haha, you totally nailed the vibe! I'd wallboost and kickglitch to this on my way to take out Jacknife anytime.
Love the recorded guitar, gives the track a great liveliness and energy. And the quick transition in the back half of the track was cool as well! Nice work.
rock and EDM immediately made me think of No Straight Roads; i think this track would work pretty well with that game's theming also! the blorbos in my head would definitely enjoy this at an underground punk concert :3
the sudden pullback of the distortion/overdrive at 0:59 caught me off-guard, that was really cool... the effect at 1:43 also!! the constant wavering of the effects keeps me strung along!

First punk submission I've come across! Interesting blend of that and EDM; the track has a solid pulse to keep it driving forward and the different patch voicings layering on top of one another creates some interesting textures to accompany the guitar line. Bass does a great job of grounding this track as it progresses.
Envisioning this in some sort of early Tony Hawks Pro Skater game, so it would definitely fit in some kind of oldschool parkour game. Good work!

Lovee this!! Both, I feel the rhythm and instruments capture chase so well, in addition to there's an underlying feeling of dread to complement the dystopian atmosphere and regime you mention- great to the theme. I feel that punk could fit nicely in many different games (skater 2 gone zombie apocalypse?)

I really liked the part where it like faded out with a static effect for a few seconds. Just a sick feature honestly!
