Description
This OST was made for a hack-n-slash thriller-based game. Genres featured are mainly darksynth and synthwave. I followed the "FREEDOM" theme.
Message from the artist
My first time delving into a grittier, more intense synthwave kind of OST. Had a lot of fun with this project and I hope you will have fun listening to them as well! :-)
Theme

How does it fit the theme?
The game's core objective is to escape the city and survive relentless attacks from hostile mobs. Most tracks are fast-paced and blood-pumping, as one second wasted is a step further from liberty.

Never got to leave a comment when rating this, but this is sooo good omg!! The way you pull of dark synth is so natural - the combination of noir, synths, is perfect. Perjury and No Mercy go super hard, with "abnormality" "impartiality" and "set at library" working to set distinct evocative tones. It reminds me a lot of evangelion and m83 actually? With a very cyberpunk/tron-like pacing. No wonder your fanbase is the population of a city?? :o (plus me now moving in hehe) amazing work wow! ^^
This is definitely the most “synthwave stylin'” work of this jam! Compilation of old sounds, rocking rimshots and singing synths = love!
Thanks so much for the soundtrack, it was fun!
P.S. I was dancing to PERJURY :>
P.S.S. Rawr!
Nice work! Enjoyed the vibe, nailed it for sure!
11 minutes of pure bangers! Excellent submission. Well done!
This is a very fun and fitting composition for the theme that you're targeting as well as the setting for your game. Great work for 48 hours!
Extremely impressive submission, damn that was good.
Great instrumentation (really liked IMPARTIALITY and PERJURY), lots of variety while staying cohesive from one track to another and the cover art reminds me of killer7, what's there not to like ?
Excelllent album, congrats for your work !
I'm not gonna be super original... Awesome job, it fits super well this hack & slash vibe and this violent struggle towards freedom. I don't have much to say, it's really good. Real banger !
dude this is literally so peak holy shit
YEAHHH HACK-AND-SLASH LET'S GOOO i love how you were able to develop each track and have arrangements that constantly grab the listener's attention, 'tis something i will study from for my own growth.
very well-done representing a variety of vibes, also! "IMPARTIALITY"'s instrumental palette makes it my top track, i would say; i love seeing how chiller tracks are treated in a soundtrack, especially in one surrounded by a baseline of higher intensity. other than that, i like the brief cameos of slap bass in "PERJURY" :3
I'm getting calls off the hook from Hotline Miami and Katana Zero saying they want to know where all their listeners went. Had to put them all on hold because I'm too busy listening to a masterpiece.
i am amazed at how great this whole thing is but also appalled that someone made this in 48 HOURS?? every song here is composed beautifully. no mercy, perjury and set at liberty are my favorite tracks, ESPECIALLY no mercy, deadass that song made me tear up
Loved the energy all around, No Mercy in particular was awesome. As someone who has just learned what darksynth is 11 minutes ago, I think you did a great job in that genre!
wow. wow. wow.
This is polished as all hell, amazing dark synth!
Not many submissions that I would listen to again but oh man this is fire, i gotta
im a simple man
i see carrot113, i like
(no question asked, no strings attached)
11 minutes and a half is actually INSANE, WHAT.
I really don't know what to really offer in terms of feedback tbh, everything sounds so freaking phenomenal!
what??? how do you even pump this out in 48 hours?? this is unreal to me. Especially with this much quality is actually mind blowing. every piece captures the game you were describing perfectly, and all tracks have its unique sound to remember. no doubt in my mind this is a top contender... amazing job!!
Very fun!
These tracks really could fit in a game easily! The synthwave work is great and it all feels very cohesive!
My favorites were 'NO MERCY' for how cool it sounds (and I really liked the choir), and 'SET AT LIBERTY' because it was a very emotional track.
Wouldn't be surprised if this takes the win!
Great work!
Fast paced and exciting music is always my preference and this is a bop all the way through!
There were times when the kick and stuff got to be a little too much, specifically in PERJURY, but it wasn't too distracting.
I really don't have much to add. fantastic job!
Got to track number 2 and was like... meh... just another huge banger and possibly the winner of it all!
Incredible work, nothing to say!
We had similar ideas! This definitely as a Peturbator vibe to it. Maybe it's because of the filters and mixing - but it seems like the sound is very confined - as if I'm on a mono TV or a GBA. If that was a design choice, it should probably be written on the project.
Thumbs up!
