Description
The track was made in Logic. The track was composed for a climatic moment of freedom. It's an orchestral piece. I took inspiration from the Hollow Knight soundtrack specifically the song sealed vessel.

Message from the artist
I hope you enjoy my song.

Theme

Freedom
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
It follows the story of a bird trapped in a cage fighting for freedom.
It's dramatic in the beginning then has a sad mid part to only have a release in the end of freedom.

BEES!

Why while listening to this track I felt like an army of angry bees wanted to execute me in the plaza....

Nice orchestration!

Love the dynamics in this track. The tremolo strings come in around 2:00 and create a sense of panic, which is then resolved nicely as the bird presumably exits the cage. Nice work!

the arrangement is awesome, i love how well the piece evolves as it continues to drive the storyline that you were imagining for your work! also wahoo i love Hollow Knight >:3c

conceptually the melodies and chords are great; i assume the distinct harmonies are purposeful considering they add an intriguing flavor, especially in the more grandeur section of the composition. nice work!

Some cool ideas here. Strong orchestration kicking in with a lot of simultaneous voicings. The section coming in around the halfway point is a welcome change and varies things up, giving the ears a little bit of a break to prevent fatigue. There is some really nice layering going on here, accentuated by the rests to really make it more impactful.

I think some of the other comments have aptly summed up some things that could be looked into to improve the track and composition in the future, but for now this is some good work and a nice submission.

Definitely follow the below post's advice. i do think there were pretty repetitive parts too

I really liked the composition overall personally

I like the composition, it is very cool. You succeed at conveying the exact emotions as you have planned, so good job in this regard.
Yet, I would advise to work with balancing, as the sounds sometimes clash. Also, starting from 2:56, the song gets a little repetitive imo, especially with the crash, which is demanding too much attention. So, I think that a little bit of mixing and processing would absolutely allow you to create something beautiful, as you already have the ability to invoke specific emotions; and that is a rare skill. Great job.

Very intense! And it really feels like some kind of a story is told insinde of the composition

Gives me a lot of super mario world vibes, good job!

Great work! I liked the old school final fantasy/chrono trigger vibes! What sound library are you using??

I would just work on balancing the mix a little more, when the layering is thick the sound becomes a little muddy and unclear!
Great work!

The way the track progressed made it feel almost like a song for musical theatre, which is to say that I think it does a good job of telling a story. The wind instruments worked well with the thematic background as around 2:08 when they started the quick arpeggio it felt a lot like the bird flapping around the cage in panic. I think it gets held back a bit personally from the instruments sounding like MIDI, but I do like the ideas that are there. Especially the dissonant parts (going back to the musical theatre context).

I like the way you messed with my expectations of the chord progression by having it go to a darker tone when it feels like it should go to a brighter tone.

There were times however when it felt really dissonant when I don't think it was meant to. Specifically, the trumpet in the second half with the high strings sounded off.
