I really, REALLY vibe with all the melodic ideas here, like a lot a lot. Onward is a great opening that's slow and makes great use of silence, the reverbed percussion hits so hard. Against All Odd melodically goes crazy in the melody and has so many cool movements. That chord shift at 1:40 to signify a new section feels so good (and perfectly placed) and the transition into bass triplets is perfect. As the final song in the OST New Adventure is just the perfect way to cap it all off using all the musical ideas in the other songs. The little major cadence at 3:00 is aaaaaaaaugh so good.
The main thing that holds back all of these tracks for me is the instrumentation, as a lot of the instruments sound very quiet and isolated when the tone feels massive and uplifting. Honestly I think the piano sounds really good, it's just that everything else should be brought forward to play with it better imo. Filling out the midrange frequencies with more instruments like strings or supersaws and cleaning up the instruments with some EQ to give them each a very defined frequency range would be what I would move towards personally, which would also help add more space for instruments and textures.
Seriously though, I 100% see the vision and I am completely there with you. Amazing stuff!
