Aweseome character design and animation. Was able to complete the game, after reading about the wall climb. The camera work if very nice too, when reaching mid-point of the level. I like the colour palette too. Congratulations on your entry :)
Thank you so much! :D
Art was stunning. Loved watching the background shift.
Beautiful artwork and environment design, it looks great! I like the wall climbing mechanic, almost missed it but that is a nice touch. Cool submission!
i like the animation, but i cant finished game game =(
The art is incredible. The main character was very well done and memorable. We had a really hard time getting past the first few jumps to the point where it didn't seem possible? Maybe we just stink at it, but we'd love to play an expanded version!
Thank you so much! I'm really happy that you took the time to try to play it. If you'd like to try to reach the end, try pressing shift to wall climb, I should've made that clear. Thank you for your nice words, it means a lot to me!
Love the visuals and the parallax background! Really needs sound though
This has so much potential. The art blew me away and it felt so cinematic with the camera movement and all. Unfortunately, I could not get past the jump on the first few platforms, which resulted in me not being able to finish your game. Here's a bit of feedback. I would recommend some audio, and coyote time (delay in falling off a platform in order to give players room before jumping). This is very decent for a first Godot game jam! I would just recommend a bit of playtesting.
Hi! thank you so much for reviewing my game! This is my first time submitting a working game and getting such nice feedback! I want to share that you can wall climb if you press shift. I added it to my project description so other people can see. For sure I need to add a tutorial next time. Thank you for your nice words!
Oh thank you! I will re-rate the game since I finished it
