This was awesome! The graphics brought me right back to the olden days, like I was playing a game forgotten to time. I really enjoyed exploring the little town and forest area, while small, was exciting to look around and discover some secrets and interact with everything. Once I recruited my party and found some weapons lying around, I was able to defeat several groups of enemies. The camping to restore health was a nice touch too, as I had run out of gold so having options there is good.
Initially, I got stuck on the gold screen. I think this is an issue primarily with the web player because escape simply escapes the embedded unity player. Also when I launched the game on the app, I tried every button except one (whoops) but somebody in discord let me know escape should do it, and it did. I would enjoy some beep boop sound fx or even some midi music or something, but it's a jam so that's the way its goes.
