Neat concept and pretty good gameplay as is, but the lack of endgame or goal makes it get kind of dull after awhile. Some of the factions have the exact same insignia though, and it makes it impossible to distinguish them without just guessing.

I used a dither shader https://godotshaders.com/shader/dither-gradient-shader/ so there's just 4 colours for the game

Your game's aesthetic is really cool, I like it alot! The game feels like Paper, Please! but outer space lol. I'm kinda suck at the game ima be honest - although I took a huge amount of time to study the patents, I still failed miserably on recognizing the ships ;))
Overall the game is cool and I would love to play more of it, maybe as a more polished product with sfx and music? Oh and one more thing, it seems like the sentences on the phone are a bit too big, which actually make it hard for me to read the whole thing. It's just a thought tho :)) Anyways, hope do you well on upcoming games too!
Really nice game! Loved the gameplay loop and the world-building for this. Really puts you in that "diplomatic space" type of scenario which I really like. Also loved the sort of pixel noise like perspective you here. Looks really nice!
Again, amazing game and looking forward to more!
Really great stuff! This game was super fun for me, since I really enjoy papers please type games lol. I do wish there was sounds, music, and an ending in the game, but for just 3 days of work, this is REALLY impressive my man. Nice job and excited to see more!
just watched it through thanks for playing! i think your rating is 100% fair
totally get what you mean with nothing happening after a point, tbh i just ran out of time to get everything i wanted to in.
the goal of the game is to grow your population, and the population increases when the cargo and passenger ships are let in and decreases with military encounters. the different planets also have different economic and military strengths so being at war with a planet with a strong military is really bad and being allies with a strong economic planet is good and you need to balance those two things.
also yeah agree that the game doesn't need to be in first person in its current state - i originally wanted to have a few more things you had to do for each ship like measuring its speed, talking on the radio to it, etc. which would have been cool in first person.
classic game jam game had big ideas for it but not enough time haha
Game is well made and easy to understand. I was able to pick it up immediately, but I feel like the lore aspects of the game really require you to dig in for a couple of hours to get the best experience with this game. Cool concept, and great work on the gameplay and visuals.
The game looks beautiful and it's easy to understand what's around me with the colors you used.
I really liked the way you used the phone to show which items cold be interacted with. I got a bit lost with the controls when I interacted with the computer and the messages. I was expecting to either use E to continue or Left click and Right click to move through the messages.
Good job with this one and keep it up!
Artstyle wise is good. the gameplay is unique too. I love the way u use a phone to tell which item we interact with hahaha. Good entry
i used this shader in godot! https://godotshaders.com/shader/dither-gradient-shader/
Visuals and concept is really nice. I would like to see a 3d papers please game like this.
Great job! I would have liked for it to have more ship identifying factors. It would feel more satisfying if there was another identifier. also i think the shade should be toned down a little.
Overall It's a great game!
Papers Please meets Obra Dinn :) It took me a bit of time to understand how it worked, but very cool concept ! I would love to see a fully developed, longer version
Cool concept, I didn't understand how to tell apart ship types at first but I figured it out eventually so all good. Was looking for an in-game goal to see where all my decisions led up to
The concept is cool. Like a Papers Please-like game, but with ships and alliances. Took me a bit t figure out what each ship is, not sure if the info is somewhere in the book.
The best part of this game is the shader you used, clever usage of colors.
