Excellent game. It looks great (though part of me did wish for a little more resolution - it felt like a LOWREZJAM game, especially with the 1:1 aspect ratio), sounds great and I enjoyed the puzzle-style gameplay.

I noticed it's possible to leave the first room without the spacesuit - I understood what was happening but that could confuse players. Also it's annoying that the chicken blocks your movement, especially when it stands in the doorway for a while! The only other thing I wished for was the ability to look around - I think it would have helped with some of the puzzles and generally taking in the atmosphere.

Ooooh, I didn’t know LOWREZJAM was a thing. I’ll be joining that for sure!

The spacesuit bit was very intentional – there’s a magic tile which kills you if you’re suitless. This was intended partially as an homage to Outer Wilds, where new players often will forget to put on their suit and step out into deep space, to predictably fatal results. But it is also there to reinforce how dangerous the lack of oxygen is and make it clear that a lack of oxygen is the “enemy” of the game. This happening at the very start of the game is vital, so players only lose a few dozen seconds of progress (plus slow loading times, in fairness).

The chicken is super valid, and will probably be fixed in the first post-jam build.

Thanks for you kind words.

That was a great game.
Solid mechanics.  Great use of the theme.
Look. sound and movement all on point.
No notes.

WOW! I really love this game!

I didn't read the description (ha, who does that!?) and was expecting some sort of sudden combat encounter. But there wasn't and that's a good thing! The game gave me a SystemShock vibe, I really love space-themed games and want to make one myself someday.  I liked the change gravity and “playing field” along with it. I was planning to do something similar in my future game, but more of a “is that a wall or a floor?!” effect. Very interesting feature you made!

The game is good, but I have to say that Low Res feature may not be to everyone's liking. It felt like it would have been nice to have a little more resolution, but that's your choice of style, so I'm just expressing an opinion!

Very good level design and very nice art style. The o2 worked very well for the game and having autosave was helpful too. The atmosphere was great too, the sounds helped a lot with the feel of the game.

I also like the puzzle style gameplay it was fun and the gravity system was very nice design to the game however found a bug where I press the gravity button to fall, i was able to still press the gravity button despite not being near it which lead to me being stuck, lucky the autosaved helped with that.

This one my favorites so far, it was fun to play and I love the feel of the game, great work with it.

I know that bug: it is fixed in the newest build! But, alas, I can’t upgrade the submission! I’ll update it as soon as the jam is over!

Thanks for the kind words

Nice level design and animated world. Impressive work for just a couple of days.

Really nice!  I love the puzzley levels and no combat.  Visuals were nice, everything tied together well.  Movement felt good and the place was fun to explore.  I ran out of O2 a couple times, which felt just right.  Autosaving on the O2 tanks was really nice, I didn't need to (or want to!) ever manually save once I figured that out.

Thank you! One my my playtesters gave up because they died in the final room – and hadn’t saved! That’s when I decided Autosaving was a must.

I went the manual saving route first, because I wasn’t sure I was able to ensure that no softlocks were possible – but in the end I was forced by playtesters to eliminate them on by one anyway so we got to a place where autosaves were safe!

I loved the atmosphere you’ve built in the “Zero Atmospheres” haha! Nice graphics, sound effects, overall dark feeling which helps with that.

I was able to finish the game after some crawling and after I’ve realized that floppy disks are not save points, but they’re keycards :D “Gravity” direction changing mechanic was a nice addition, as it provided good foundation for these spatial puzzles, limited oxygen was nice too as you need to track where are you going and where is the closest oxygen tank.

Interestingly enough I don’t have anything else to point at, it’s a very solid game, a good example of properly chosen scope and a finished mini game which look super consistent. Great job!

I love low-res retro games so visually your game was spot on for me :D

Artwise, the ambience, textures, basically everything thatg can be considered art is top notch, even had some space-horror feel.

The movement is smooth and the controls are simple, I also liked the puzzles. Altough it wasn't clear for me what I've picked up at the beginning but I guess it was a breathing device,

It wasn't 100% clear at first what are the floppy disks I'm picking up, I thought they are checkpoints, then seeing they are colored it got clear pretty quickly that they are the keys for the doors - with a matching color.

I can get lost in maze-like maps really easily so sometimes I was a bit "scared" I won't find what I need but I managed to play it trough until the end - a small minimap wouldn't have hurt but me myself haven't implemented one for my game, so I accept it :D

Overally it's one of the best submissions taking my personal taste, so good job - even better thinking this is your first Godot game :D

I restarted the game since i had some confusion and disorientation the first time i played it but i managed to beat the game the second time and i quite enjoyed it.

Game has a Doom kind of level design where you take key cards with different colors each opening a door with the corresponding color. But you added gravity puzzles into the mix which actually  rotates the room when you interact with certain buttons. I think this is a brilliant idea and very well executed. Depleting oxygen adds tension to the game, maybe there are too many oxygen tanks sprinkled around. They could be less tans strategically place around the map to raise the challenge a little bit. Autosaving when using the tanks are nice.

The graphics has kind of a Doom feel to it. I like the ambience, there's a planet outside the ship, that's a good touch. Really makes you feel you are in space.  Controls are snappy and feel good. I wish there was some kinf of combat which could make it fully a dungeon crawler experience but considering the time constraint  and you developed this solo, i think this is a great achievement nevertheless. Well done!

Really neat graphics, love the feel of the game. I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the Dungeon Crawler Jam.
